Easy to make self-service visualizations for business decisions

As someone who is not an expert in SQL it is easy to make dashboards, look up metrics, and make business decisions without having to involve many other teams like engineering to create What do you dislike? There's not a big downside to looker as it has been one of the more intuitive tools I've worked in What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Best tool for empowering business users
What do you like best? The LookML layer is an incredible way to make analytics more flexible and approachable for non-technical users. Learning curve for simply interacting with the tool isn't steep at all. What do you dislike? Visualization/dashboards aren't the best. You can pretty easily get the data you want as long as it's set up right, but purely for display purposes it's not the prettiest or most customizable. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Look on Looker
What do you like best? I like being able to see all my month's progress in one spot. How many packages sent, cost, conversions, delinquent packages, and more. What do you dislike? Looker takes forever to load and is sometimes not accurate with the data provided. When I refresh the page or change the filters, it reloads from square one, taking forever for everything to pop up again. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Looker helps me ...

Not super user friendly
What do you like best? -can run pretty in depth reports and analysis -ability to segment data and create lots of “Looks” -ability to share reports with other users What do you dislike? -not super user friendly -too complex to get just basic information (especially when setting up a Look etc) -hoping with Google acquiring they get some way easier UI/UX Recommendations to others considering the product: Kind of a necessary evil. Most likely very good thing Google ...

Over rated and behind the times.
What do you like best? There is some elements of the governance and consistency of the LookML that I do like. And you can do a few nice things with the datatests. Symmetric aggregates are nice when they work. What do you dislike? The product is way behind the times. Looker is extremely limited in its customisability, especially with aesthetics. Things like: annotations, titles, data lables, titles, filters etc. The symmetric aggregates need to be checked and triple checked. ...

Great analytics application
What do you like best? A lot of opportunity to use the existing fields and reports or build your own. Anything you really want to build, you can figure out how to build. Great reports overall. Good customer service experience, always someone available to help which is great. We had any training sessions that helped our team. What do you dislike? Requires a certain amount of time for setup and getting used to/building out things you need. Validating all the information initially takes ...

Extremely Pliable; Easy to Adapt to Needs
What do you like best? Looker enables you to pull data in a straightforward UI, dig deeper with unique SQL queries, and visualize data more productively in a variety of formats. You can save the most helpful looks to dashboards making it easy to revisit data you want to track regularly. Looker has made it possible for me to catch various small disasters by enabling me to look at the same thing day over day, so it is clear when something is off. What do you dislike? I think the UI ...
