Lever pros and cons

  • Automates and streamlines repetitive recruitment tasks like scheduling, email management, and interview feedback, saving time and improving efficiency.

  • Intuitive, user-friendly interface with minimal training needed, enabling quick adoption across teams, including non-technical users.

  • Enhances collaboration and transparency within hiring teams and stakeholders by centralizing information and processes.

  • Offers useful features like bulk actions, nurture campaigns, built-in templates, and Chrome extensions for increased productivity.

Great Applicant Tracking System

What do you like best? I love how complete the feature set is for this use case. All of our team members can collaborate on one product, leave interview feedback, and track where applicants are in the pipeline. What do you dislike? The complexity of the product lends itself to a complex UI, which can be challenging to navigate at times. I'd like for the product to be a bit better designed so it's easier to navigate. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

Lever has been a fabulous resource for our recruiting needs

What do you like best? It's intuitive and the user interface is top-notch. We enjoy how all of the candidate's info is in one place. We've been loving the lack of back-and-forth between teammates with scheduling and email comms. What do you dislike? While Google integration is excellent, it's sometimes complicated to schedule interviews, and it sends multiple calendar invites, which I think confuses the candidate and the hiring managers. There could also be an easier way to house ...

Lever as a product

What do you like best? Lever is an amazing platform to track recruitment activity. Even before I was able to speak to the on-boarding team, I was able to maneuver through the site. I really enjoy using these tools to keep my company in compliance and organized. What do you dislike? There is really nothing bad to say about Lever. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Keeping all HR hiring details in order helps us to stay organized. ...

Technical Recruiter

What do you like best? I like how easy it is to configure data in Lever to really analyze how you are doing from a hiring perspective. What do you dislike? Lever can be a little tricky about organizing candidates. Once you get it, it's fine, but did take a little while to get familiar with it. Recommendations to others considering the product: Play around with it for a bit and you can really get it to act how you need. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Exceptional tool for SMB

What do you like best? The transparency of the product aligns with our mission. Very intuitive and easy to use. What do you dislike? Branding could be a lot better. Although a modern tool -- it does not look like it from initial glance. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Recruiting process, feedback and speed. Gives the company a central place to refer to for all things recruiting.

User-friendly and easy to navigate

What do you like best? I like the way it is set up so that I can see all the stages on a req and easily update status and notes on candidates. I also like how easy it has been to add my availability and set up email templates. What do you dislike? I haven't researched doing mass emails or bulk updates but it is not as intuitive so I need to do some more digging. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? sending availability and ...

Highly Recommended ATS!

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Might be good for tiny companies but definitely not an enterprise tool unless all your looking for is a scheduling tool. The system doesn’t support html mails.. reasoning is they want it to feel like a mail not spam but seeing as most mails are html format this is insane. No easy way of seeing candidates attached to reqs. Support is terrible, they just point you to articles written and then close ticket presuming it’s sorted. Customer success, account managers, and ...
