Deceiving practice of claiming free online document only to force people to provide their credit card info at the end after spending valuable time creating your document.

Disappointing and predatory

Disappointing. The forms lack polish and are difficult to use. This company does not clearly state cancellation process/ renewal expectations. You CANNOT pay by the day if you go past the 7 day trial, even though they absolutely outline that option in their advertising. I was stuck during the unprecedented travel outages of July 19, 2024, supporting a grieving friend, and very understandably missed my cancellation by a day. This is a very deceptive company

This is a very deceptive company. Be very careful if you do the free trial. If you do not pay attention they will keep charging you a monthly fee. Even though I called and cancelled they continued to charge my credit card. What I found out later was they somehow managed to get an email address of mine from 20 years ago that I have never used and claimed I never cancelled on that email address. I was furious as it cost me $200.00 over 5 months. Very underhanded business practices! Beware!!

I value the breath of templates offered by Legal Templates and also how easy it is to navigate the site. There are a great variety of templates available and they are well written/done.

BAD!!!

Bad. I asked for a refund because I did not use and do not want to use the services. For small businesses, $40 a month is TOO MUCH. They should send an email a few days before the end of THE FREE TRIAL.

I canceled my subscription within the 7 days. They convinced me to do it for $9.95 and then charged me full price @$39.95 and now they're trying to tell me that I didn't cancel properly. I spoke to customer service. I was told that I didn't follow policy and proper procedure during my cancellation and therefore I do not get a refund in the meantime.
