Are you using Kentico Kontent?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Kontent.ai's main strength is its headless CMS architecture, which eliminates the need to build custom backend API layers. This matters if your team wants to manage content once and publish to websites, mobile apps, and other channels without duplicating work. The interface is straightforward for content creation and model setup, and the SDK support reduces ...Read more
Kentico Kontent pros and cons
Simple user interface that enhances collaboration and efficiency among team members.
Easy setup for marketers and developers, providing capabilities for content creation, scheduling, and deployment across multiple channels.
Some users find the platform to be expensive, potentially limiting its accessibility for certain clients.
While the UI is user-friendly, there are occasional issues with cumbersome workflows and limited customization options that can hinder specific requirements.

Ideal to speed up your go to market, easy to use, affordabe and very responsive support
What do you like best? The whole platform is fast and responsive. Creating the content model is a breeze, it's a pleasure to use. It allows non technical users to get up and running in no time. I contacted support a few times with very specific and semi technical questions and they responded within minutes, the best customer support I have worked with. I also contact support with a feature request and after an approval flow it was implemented and I can now use the enhancement in my ...

Competing with the best API first CMS's
What do you like best? I believe the ability for changes and suggestions to come through and the Kentico Cloud team, always willing to listen to help us, goes a long way. The awesome support and consultancy allow for any additional support that we may require. The plugins that allow us to use static site generators like GatsbyJS really help with the community What do you dislike? I guess the subscription plans that are out there, which hopefully can be tailored to client ...

Room for improvements
What do you like best? The simple, clean and straight forward user interface. What do you dislike? Functionalities are too basic especially for enterprise usage, eg. lacking of audit trails, CD for content type and taxonomy, debugging logs of API etc. Recommendations to others considering the product: Headless CMS is not for everyone in every use cases. Be sure to understand what headless CMS can offer and evaluate the suitability of the product based on your use case. Don't get ...

Highly scalable and highly reccomended
What do you like best? I enjoy how simple the user interface is and how quickly the support team responds to queries. What do you dislike? The fact that you cannot get the asset urls directly and that long names cannot be seen on the minimized linked items. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Dynamic layouts have been solved ( with easy to using models )

What do you like best? We like interface, SDKs, multilingual support, an option to use different technologies. Kentico also listens to our feedback on the features and improvements that we need. We are confident that the product will grow and we will deliver our promises to a client. What do you dislike? On some projects, we required more complex role management. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Kentico Cloud centralises all ...

Kentico is a productivity saver!
What do you like best? I love the organization of content, especially the way the nesting works, the reusability of assets and the User Interface. What do you dislike? Being able to add keywords on a smaller scale would be really helpful, especially for big projects with a lot of assets. Recommendations to others considering the product: Definitely make sure you have your desired organization set before using the product. It allows for such detail (in the best way possible) and ...

Effective CMS with a Team that Constantly Is Improving their Software
What do you like best? The best thing about Kentico Cloud is how simple their front-end is to use as well as how well-documented their API is. What do you dislike? With their constant improvement of their product, some things become outdated - such as taxonomies. This can become a headache if you are planning to use their API in your own system. Recommendations to others considering the product: You can't ask for a better product. It is so easy to use by not only technical ...
