Jira for managing complex projects
What do you like best? I like the ability to view and track the progress of projects. It's a quick and easy way to find out what stage a project is in and to make comments as necessary, which is also a great way to provide feedback and input into the process. What do you dislike? The fact that Jira was designed to track complex projects makes Jira inherently complex to use. There is a vocabulary unique to Jira that can make first time, or infrequent, users intimidated and confused. ...

Best Tool for Project and Issue Tracking
What do you like best? Things I like the most: - Colorful and Intuitive Labels on Issue card - The idea of keeping the card in different stages (TODO, DOING, DONE) - Time Estimation and time tracking What do you dislike? Con for this tool is its complexity to configure for new users. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We work on Android Projects which could have been hard to track without JIRA.

I Love Using JIRA to Manage Projects
What do you like best? JIRA is a great tool for managing projects and keeping tasks in line. Internal users and client users can collaborate on tasks and communicate easily. What do you dislike? I don't like when JIRA auto-assigns tasks when switching the status. If you assign the task to the next person and then change the status, sometimes the JIRA function auto-assigns it to the incorrect person. You then have to go back and re-assign it to the right person. What problems are ...

JIRA UX/UI
What do you like best? JIRA has been really helpful with task allocation. It provides good cross-team visibilty. I'm using it for two teams right now. What do you dislike? I would like to see more apps for JIRA. We have been using a few but the experience hasn't been great. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have been using JIRA for task allocation mainly on the US team, whereas deployed an agile approach on the offshore team ...

Useful product but can be time consuming to use
What do you like best? It helps keep me organized by allowing me to create tickets for each task I have to do. I also like that it allows me to see what others are working on, and allows me to assign tasks to other people by creating tickets. What do you dislike? It can be time consuming when changing out tickets, and when having to manually clone tickets and add parents to them. I also dislike having to close out all my tickets at the end of the day, it adds an extra 5 minutes to ...
