Powerful but a bit overwhelming

What do you like best? Jira has almost endless options to make sure that you have all the tools you need to keep track of many different moving pieces while organizing projects. Whatever you want to do, there is a way to do it in Jira. What do you dislike? All the features make Jira powerful, but they can also lead to overwhelm. Assigning a simple task can be complex, and keeping track of what you have to do and managing statuses can likewise be complicated. Jira has the "power ...

I love this product and how I am able to keep track of tasks

What do you like best? Great tool for tracking tickets, bug reporting and teamwork collaboration from reporting, grooming, dev, QA, UAT, up to deployment to Production. Jira has more and more features that I am learning about daily. Always something new popping up that I didn't know about before. Only been using it for a few months and it's been amazing. What do you dislike? It's not visually appealing, it takes a while to load, and I seem to get emails about updated tickets even ...

Vital to our development process

What do you like best? Here are the things I like best about Jira: - Usability; so easy to drag and drop things on the board - configurability of the boards - customization of status workflows - easy to understand reporting functionality What do you dislike? I wish jira fields would save on click away of the field, instead of having to click the checkmark to save the updates. Sometimes this causes issues with some of our team members who are not as familiar with how ...

Jira: a project management and error monitoring tool

What do you like best? JIRA tend to work with projects very well, allowing us to easily adjust tasks with their corresponding story points. My entire team thinks it's simple to use and that it does not require much practice to use it properly. It has many panels that are very helpful and we use them to demonstrate the team where issues can be tracked. Besides, we can generate custom perspectives that are particularly helpful to my team, so that we only focus on the issues we face at a ...

A hybrid tool for Request Tracking and Timekeeping

What do you like best? can Enter time everytime a Request is status changed, so that there is no need to track hours spent or remember them later. Linking with other Requests and Linking to Confluence Clone feature is great. What do you dislike? Obviously it may be the problem with implementation or corporations that follow JIRA to track 8 hours per day. But we all know only 80% or around 6.5 hrs of work gets done in an 8 hour workday. We do not have to enter every misc ...
