"Inkscape is a slow, but serviceable vector illustration program on a Mac"

What do you like best about Inkscape? I really like that Inkscape is free for everyone to use, and doesn't require purchase of a commercial license. There are also a lot of tutorials on the internet, because this is a commonly used alternative to Illustrator.

"Inkscape for Graphics Design"

What do you like best about Inkscape? Free! I also like that it's almost complete -- if Inkscape can add more image features I'll be in heaven because that would mean I'd never have to load Gimp.

"Not quite like Illustrator but it'll get the job done for free"

What do you like best about Inkscape? Surprisingly, it's really great for creating SVGs. I used it for a little while to convert .jpgs and .pngs to a path and then to an SVG. Weirdly convenient for a weird situation.
