Inkscape along with Gimp and ImageMagick (convert tool) is very good graphic design and photo-manipulation toolkit, icons, logos, posters, mock-ups every aspect of graphic design can be done with help of inkscape, it is opensource that means is totally free maintained and developed by community.

What do you like best about Inkscape? The quickness and ease of creating complex vectors using Inkscape is the thing I like best about Inkscape. Frankly I took quicker to Inkscape than I did with Adobe Illustrator and it felt much more fluid when creating vectors.

They may not always work like other software packages, but if you understand the basics of using a vector based d software, you can accomplish whatever is needed.

What do you like best about Inkscape? Everyone loves free stuff so the best thing I like about Inkscape is Free. But not all the free stuff is good stuff, Inkscape shows me that it is awesome stuff to replace any kind of vector app. For my business, Inkscape always reduces the cost and time more than if I use commercial app. I use ubuntu, windows 10 and OS X and I found no difficult to use in several platform.

What do you like best about Inkscape? I like how versatile the software is, I have been able to use it for cartoons, diagrams, watermarks and logos. Although I have yet to use any, the ability to add plug-ins makes the software even more versatile. The fact that it's open source also means that anyone can install it and get started right away, including my clients.
