DO NOT UPLOAD YOUR NAME (and CV with specific details)

STAY AWAY. USE WITH CAUTION. I put my CV online, I did not contact ANYONE, I did NOT appy for ANY jobs (in the past yes to one named direct employer company). I did NOT use any other agency or website AT ALL. I did NOT talk to anyone AT ALL. I was contacted on Indeed in less than 24 hours by 4 agencies. I replied and to released my CV to just ONE agency... This one agency through Indeed were very good, and highly professional, they asked my permissions to share info etc. They approached ...

Customer Service is a nightmare to deal with…

Customer Service is a nightmare to deal with. Instead of solving problems, they like to tell you why and how you should have done it differently. We are a small family-owned business and this is our first time using Indeed. We work 4-10s so had a long weekend for all employees on July 4th, we got charged for several applications that were not relevant because we were not here to "decline" them. I called and they said that's just how Indeed works and would not refund. Called at a later date ...

Information Control and GDPR Principles

How could the public or sole traders trust Indeed Recruitment with their data as Indeed manipulates and controls subscribers data remotely and does not adhere with the GDPR principles. Information it holds are not verified or checked for accuracy and the duration it can hold such information. Indeed operates a monopoly with AI intent to control and publish individual and businesses personal data.

To many fake jobs

To many fake jobs! I have been looking for another job (forklift and multi-skilled construction trade) for the last 9 months and you find them and are more than qualified and have experience and apply only to be told you haven't been considered and that someone else was more suited, which is fare enough. But weeks later the same exact job with the same company is posted so you apply and once again you are told you haven't been considered but every few weeks the same job is just posted and ...

Indeed is barely helpful in trying to…

Indeed is barely helpful in trying to find meaningful employement these days & is a waste of time. I have better success at finding jobs when I'm not even logged in to the site just looking randomly. As soon as I am logged in they only show me jobs that they think are relative to my experience however, I have applied to many while browsing before logging in & have had much better success. Showing that their algorithms dont work. Through this site during & post Covid up until today. I ...

I am an employer

I am an employer I have tried to use indeed as a trusted site for hiring new employees. This platform is a joke!! Ripoff! Not only are the candidates not screened to ensure they are a qualified candidate. They just send anyone who is seeking unemployment status. I have opened my time up for over 45 interviews and non of them show. Even though as an employer, we have been charged $45 for each ghost. If you have more than one job opening. You are charged whether the window is open or not for ...

Recruiter emails sent en masse, no replies

It seems employers send me emails expressing an interest in hiring me - but when I reply with the phone number they asked for via Indeed or directly, they simply don't answer. (Nothing in spam, of course.) I do not know why that is other than to guess it's one of two things: 1. Their letter is sent out en masse based on Indeed shortlisting some names based on key words in their CV and so the employer gets loads of responses back from potential applicants who thought they were receiving a ...
