Trying to find a job has been…frustrating

Trying to find a job has been discouraging. After applying it takes 2 to 3 weeks for a response, then an interview a week later, then another couple of weeks for a decision, only to find out that companies have hired others with more experience.

Maybe the company is doing well

Maybe the company is doing well, but within 3 months I have not got a single part-time job We agree to the fact that everyone needs experience, but if someone doesn't give you any chance, what experience shall we talk about? I think indeed needs to consider this with the companies policies and not with the job seeker

To be honest!!!!

To be honest it seems to be ok. I just found it harder too get a job on here now then before. I am use to reading the paper and going out to get that job. Where here it is suppose to be better but I still haven't found a job in almost a year. My qualifications are perfect. I think that's the problem is no one wants to pay for my level of experience.

No luck

I have applied to numerous jobs with barely any bites. Would live help with my resume but you want to charge and I am out of work.

Employers want too much for so little

A lot of the jobs listed are completely unreasonable. Employers want you to have full time availability for part time hours with no benefits and very low pay. This SHOULD affect their ratings. We should be able to rate a company based off their application processes and interview processes. Not only if we worked there. I couldn't post a review based off a job I turned down due to their interview and extreme expectations for a 10-12 hour/week part time job.

there was a lot of places I did apply and never got a response, I did however get to do a lot of interviews and was finally successful.

There is content that is frankly irritating, every single page asking if in new to Canada, my family came to Canada in the 1600’s!! There’s no way to turn this crap off! There’s no way to get rid of irrelevant jobs, now what to shut off the never ending idiotic questions about past employers, same questions over and over and over. Resumes are hard to edit, and because I’m qualified to do many different things I’d like to taylor a resume for a specific job application and that’s difficult to ...
