The good point for monitoring large environment
What do you like best? Icinga2 is really useful and also has clearly documents for starter or newbie who wants to monitor the large network and services environment. It's also support distribution monitoring modeling, this very helpful for scaling and growing of automation services if needed. What do you like best? Excellent capability in delivering alerts and data for connectivity, availability, and general health checks of the infrastructure. What do you dislike? Sometime, become unstable; some reports could be improved. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Very comprehensive monitoring tool for Linux
What do you like best? Icinga was easy to setup and easy to use.. There is plenty of documentation out there that will help you get through the installation. What do you dislike? I found the documentation for setting up the monitoring of Linux servers a bit difficult to understand. The most complete open-source monitoring system
What do you like best? It is open source and free, meaning the software is easily extendible. All Nagios plugins, as well as all the community plugins are usable with Icinga. You can use alot of advanced features, including check scheduling, notification escalation or a very detailed user access and management system.
