Good idea, poor execution
I appreciate what Happy Scribe is trying to do, and in a way, the application is successful. It can transcribe SOME recordings with good accuracy. The UX platform (when it works) is also good and quite responsive. However, there are so many issues that completely undermine the efforts they've made. The platform crashes more regularly than any online application I've ever used. Certain recordings (and there's no way of knowing in advance which ones these will be) transcribe so poorly that ...

Automatic, highly accurate transcription was great for the price!
Their automatic/AI transcription service was over 80% accurate on my 15 minute video! The price was very reasonable (under $3, it was the first video I did with them), especially since my alternatives were to pay ~$20/month using other transcription services I know of (like Kapwing).

"Excellent sub-title generation"
What do you like best about Happy Scribe? HappyScribe is fast and relatively accurate. I use it for videos created by a Spanish speaker, and the % of errors is minimal. When it fails to transcribe correctly, the sharing features allow you to create a link for the speaker to view and edit the transcription, so it works very well.
