What do you like best about Guideline? (Edit 10/19/20) What you will read below did indeed happen. The onboarding was *rough*. All that said, we've now had a full year with no issues. Reporting is clear. Price is reasonable. And the dashboard is easy to use. Maybe because I now have distance from our very difficult start, I'm now satisfied with Gusto. All this said: MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO ONBOARD. DO NOT TRY TO BECOME A NEW CUSTOMER NEAR THE END OF THE TAX YEAR, AS WE DID.

What do you like best about Guideline? Guideline is a great low-cost option for small businesses or startups to be able to offer a 401K retirement option for their employees and compete for top talent with other larger companies. It's a very simple and seamless onboarding experience for the company and the employee - set it and forget it!

What do you like best about Guideline? Their software is barely ok. Theoretically, the idea of a "401k plan as a service" is appealing, but they've failed miserably in the execution.

What do you like best about Guideline? I really like the breakdown for each pay period stating which money came from my paycheck and which money came from the employer. Also, the statements tab is very useful. I imagine having Guideline will make it very easy come tax time in 2020 -- very glad that we are using Guideline!

What do you like best about Guideline? I like how visually appealing it is. Taking something that isn't exactly exciting (taking my money and putting it in a box till I'm older) and makes the experience fast, smooth and easy. The step by step process helps keep it simple and having explanations in layman's terms is incredibly helpful.

What do you like best about Guideline? I like that they send me alerts about when things have changed to my 401k status. They help you decide on how much risk you want to take with your retirement investments.
