Google Sheets pros and cons
Google Sheets enables multiple users to edit and comment simultaneously, making it ideal for remote teams and cross-department projects.
With Gemini integration, users can generate formulas, detect patterns, and create visualizations quickly, reducing manual effort and errors.
It connects with tools like BigQuery, Looker, Salesforce, and Asana, allowing businesses to centralize and analyze data from multiple sources.
Accessible via web browsers, mobile apps, and offline mode, ensuring productivity from anywhere without interruptions.
Some advanced functions, such as complex macros or data modeling, remain more robust in Microsoft Excel.
Handling very large spreadsheets or millions of rows can lead to lagging and slower performance.

Great for collaborating
What do you like best? We have full licenses of Office for my employees, but we often use Sheets when we need to share a document. It allows multiple people to be in the sheet at once. You can see real-time the edits that others are making. It also has a history of all the edits made by person. The ability to open on a phone or device makes it super helpful when away from a computer. Sheets has all the functions and features that Excel has, but it is free. For someone new to ...

Easy to Use
What do you like best? Google Sheets is almost as powerful as Excel but is even easier to use. Excel is amazing, but when I need quick analysis or need to generate fast results, Google Sheets is my go-to. I also love all of the various formulas and the informational pop-up that appears to let me know what the parameters of the formula are. I think this functionality puts Google Sheets light years ahead of Excel. What do you dislike? Excel has Google Sheets beat when it comes to ...

Google Sheets is the way to go!
What do you like best? The absolute best feature about Google Sheets is the ability to easily collaborate on the same project. The updates are live and you can make comments about things that other co-workers have done. It's so simple to just post a link to your Google Sheet so that others can check out what you've compiled and have a conversation about what should be added or removed. What do you dislike? I am really struggling to come up with something that I don't like about ...

Slim, easily shareable solution
What do you like best? Easy sharing inside and outside organizations. What do you dislike? Support for advanced formatting and formulas is not too sophisticated. Recommendations to others considering the product: Don't hesitate, after checking security concerns. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sharing data without worrying about granting access, creating logins, or learning curves.

Google Sheets is a great collaborative spreadsheet.
What do you like best? What I like the most is the easy to use setup. It works on your computer, tablet, and smartphone. When there's internet you can easily access your docs. Besides that, there’s an option to share/assign documents to others. This way multiple people can contribute in the same document what is a great plus and can speed things up big time. We actually use it for our website to easily update information for customers. What do you dislike? Being an online program, ...

Google Sheets is what you need
What do you like best? I like just how simple it is with sharing and editing documents among colleagues, and Google Sheets showed me that it can be very simple and it does not involve complex actions. I also love the capacity to transfer the files across several platforms. What do you dislike? I do not know why several of my personal favorite formulas in Excel do not work with Google's program. Neertheless the program works smoothly and meets all of my expectations. ...

Google Sheets For Cloud Collaboration & Data Entry
What do you like best? As per my experience, the best feature of Google Sheets includes the ability to create and share spreadsheets online in real-time with multiple collaborators leading to better team productivity. What do you dislike? The dislike part that I experienced while using this application is that it doesn't have an extensive range of data visualization features, unlike other solutions available in the market. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

You can use Google Sheets for more than just accounting or math
What do you like best? Google sheets is underestimated by most. Yes, it is wonderful for accounting purposes, math formulas and more. However, it can be used for so much more than that. We use it to automate our client quoting system. We use cognito forms and zapier which sends the client information to the sheet. Then, thanks to some great formulas our experts have come up with, it can take that information and put it into a quote calculation which produces a PDF document with the ...

Great spreadsheet and functionality
What do you like best? I love the versatility of Google Sheets, and I use them for all sorts of projects. I keep track of student data. I link to Sheets to Google forms for surveys and some quizzes. I love the ease of formulas (and the ability to search online for formulas when I don't know how to set one up for a specific task.) I use Sheets to track accounts and orders, as well as contacts and connections. Like other Google programs, I can easily access my Sheets on any device, ...
