Simple to use
What do you like best? The features of this are very similar to Microsoft Excel, so when my school district switched to Google from Microsoft, it was quick and easy to learn the new software. What do you dislike? I miss a few features of Excel used for managing the overall spreadsheet. Also, I have to really search for some formatting features that were very easily found in Excel. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? As an ...

Google Sheets - A good substitute for Microsoft Excel
What do you like best? Google Sheets is accessible from practically any platform as long as you have an internet connection. It is a great excel sheet program that allows users to keep track of data and graph it as well. It's very useful for organizing numbers and also for planning schedules. What do you dislike? There are some minor inconveniences, such as inserting a line break into a cell so that the text in the cell doesn't overlap or go into another cell. It is not as easy to ...

Great free collaboration tool
What do you like best? Google sheets is easy to use, extremely compatible with different file formats, and a tremendous time saver. I especially like the ability for multiple people to edit a document at once. It provides a tremendous opportunity to get things right the first time, and not have to have a lengthy back and forth. What do you dislike? It's just different enough from Excel to make me a little crazy when I'm switching back and forth. Recommendations to others ...

Great for collaboration
What do you like best? What I find most helpful is that you can see real-time feedback and changes rather than having to wait for someone to edit the Excel sheet and send it back to you. This is great for teams that have data and information that they want to actively collaborate on right away. What do you dislike? I use Google Sheets for some things and Airtable for others. I like using Airtable versus Google Sheets in some ways because it is easier to group my candidates into ...

Who needs Excel?
What do you like best? Google Sheets is the spreadsheet tool within the Google Suite of office tools (along with Google Docs and Slides). Sheets isn't quite as powerful as Microsoft Excel, but it is easier to use, in my opinion. It's helpful because all documents live in the cloud and are accessible from anywhere. It also works well together with Docs and Slides. What do you dislike? Google Sheets isn't quite as powerful as Microsoft Excel. There are a few formulas and features ...

Shareable and Usable
What do you like best? The application allows users to create and modify files online and to interact with other users in real time. Users can track changes throughout the change history. The location of the editor is highlighted with a special color and cursor, and the access rights system determines what the user can do. What do you dislike? These worksheets are missing some of the formatting functions that can be found in Excel applications. Recommendations to others ...

Not your average, clunky spreadsheet software
What do you like best? My most favorite aspect of Google Sheets is how easy it is to use. Other types of spreadsheet software require months of external training to master, and even then, new features are added frequently. This is very time-consuming. Google Sheets' accessibility and simplicity champion its field. What do you dislike? In the same vein of simplicity, Google Sheets doesn't offer the same range of features and tools that competing spreadsheet softwares provide access ...
