Downloadable Software for Image editing and creation.

What do you like best? I like that it is a relatively easy software to use. It isn't as complex as Adobe Photoshop, and will obviously be limited in some ways, but most things can be figured out using google. What do you dislike? There is no circular drawing tool. There is a long process of having to create a circular selection, then go in and create a pathway, and then choose to draw a line on that pathway. GIMP - Thank Goodness It's Free

What do you like best? The best thing about GIMP is it's free. It is a powerful tool with a clunky interface. What do you dislike? The worst thing about GIMP is the user interface. It has its roots in Linux and has that generic, gray, clunky look to it. It's not obvious how to do some of the simplest tasks. Photoshop for a lot less

What do you like best? I can do most everything my counterparts can do in Photoshop but it doesn't cost me anything. What do you dislike? Support isn't the greatest, but I can usually find a blog or YouTube video that shows what I need. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Editing images for websites. It gets the job done and no software costs.

Decent substitute for Photoshop

What do you like best? Handles all the file types I'm used to working with. What do you dislike? As a long-time Photoshop user, it will take some time getting used to the tools that work differently in GIMP. What do you like best? I like that Gimp is free, and that it is relatively close in user interface to PhotoShop What do you dislike?
