Free and has a variety of features
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? The thing that stands out to me and that I like the most is that despite being free, it performs just as well as Photoshop. I can do all the things I need to do without having to pay a huge amount. What aspects are problematic or could work better? They could make the user interface more intuitive since it is a bit confusing the way it is now. Newbies downloading this free program might have a hard time and struggles where to start. ...

An excellent alternative to improve the quality of our images.
What do you like best? What I like most about GIMP is how light it is compared to other softwares that can slow down our computer. Its weight does not reach even 300 Mb while other softwares exceed the (1 Gb of memory. Thanks to that GIMP can be installed on any equipment since it does not require many specifications. I particularly like how your taskbar is arranged. Your toolbox has all the necessary elements to work with. The text tool has several types of font. It is free software so ...

Excelent Graphic Editing Tool
What do you like best? Anyone who works on design and love free and open source software, definitely love GIMP. Don't let that the fact that it's free make you think that this tool it provides results less professional that others, in fact, have a huge numer of options, brushes, fonts, add-ons and templates that will blow your mind. It's multiplatform and so lightweight that barely use space of your hard drive, even have a portable version that run perfect. What do you dislike? I can ...

Gimp Simple and efficient editor
What do you like best? What I love about GIMP is that it is an ideal image editor to work with icons, logos and background images, especially for the design of the Information Systems interface. As a programmer at a certain time an image is required and you can not count on the help of the graphic designer, Gimp is an ideal tool to modify images to build others easily, and with a good level of standard quality. Another of the things that I like about Gimp is free software and does not ...

Gimp Ideal for icons
What do you like best? What I like about Gimp, as a programmer of information systems and web, is that I can manipulate the images to turn them into logos, figures for the command buttons or images of systems, with great ease without needing the help or the intervention of a graphic designer. In turn, this program is easy to install and is portable, since I can install it on the most common operating systems, such as Windows and Linux. Unlike some programs like Adobe Photoshop that can ...
