Float review
What do you like best? I like how easy it is to add new projects, tasks and to view a report of any/all project in a matter of just a few clicks, mostly due to its intuitive UI/UX design it is also pretty neat that I can sync my google calendar events What do you dislike? Sometimes there is a visible delay when adding/deleting tasks, other than that I have no issue using Float, hopefully, there will be a self-hosted version in the future What problems are you solving with the ...

Just wish it would do the work for us too :) What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Keeping everyone's work schedule organised and in one place, with a back end system that keeps everyone in the loop!

Managers love it!
What do you like best? The managers use float to quickly understand what tasks the analysts have on their plate. If you're in an industry like mine, goals and priorities can shift at the drop of a hat. Float provides a great solution to getting all hands on deck without completely disrupting normal flow of work. What do you dislike? Some improvements could be made to inputting calendar data. The site lacks intuitive controls which could bring it on par with a modern cell phone app, ...

Good but there are space for improvement
What do you like best? Overall, it is very easy to input project and hours. What do you dislike? There are project report and people report that are provided by Float. But I feel like there isn't a bridge to connect people and project. In many situations, we want to see what kinds of projects that people are working on. For example, for person A, we want to see a report that show for this week, A is working on project B for 4 hours a day, 20 hours a week, project C for 2 hours a ...

Architect Using Float to Keep Track of Hours
What do you like best? I like how it keeps track of my hours for each project I am working on, and that I can list what tasks I completed for the project. What do you dislike? I wish the project name showed up before the task name in my list so I can more readily see what each project is. I wish I could stay logged in and not have to log back in every time I go to the software. Recommendations to others considering the product: Keep up the good work and keep track of your ...

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Problems are listed above such as the after regular hours ability to add tasks it looks messy - benefits is too see a ...

Effective and polished
What do you like best? The app is very polished, and I often get the feeling apps are very bloated, but this app works very well. It is simple, and does not have too many features, but that's good compared to trying to do this in other software. We used to use outlook to manually signal when we would use PTO or be on projects, but now it's all in one place. What do you dislike? The schedule view is a bit cumbersome, since there is so much data represented. It can feel cumbersome ...
