Good but needs Work!

Tried this service and found it, in general, very straight-forward and easy to use. That being said, there are a several shortcomings: 1) App should be web-based or allow a choice of web-based. 2) When entering a password for the file, I could only type a password in. I *always* use a password manager with very long passwords and your app did not allow me to paste a long password in. Sending Training Videos

Sent a couple of training videos to Kenya. On my end, no problem uploading. I had a bit of a learning curve about getting the link to share but was able to make it happen. The download speed on the other side could be an issue based upon how big the file is. But, all in all, worked perfectly.

Good for sending large files

Used it to send a 160GB folder, went well although registration took some time. Overall, I liked it.

Simpler instructions would be good.

I used the site in rather a panic, when I was trying to find how to send a large file required in a hurry, for a church service. I am 78 and not specially computer savvy. The best thing is - the file got there!! I'm no too sure how! However, I did find it difficult, so many terms were unknown to me and the help instructions seemed to assume that you already know everything! I couldn't tell whether my file had been sent, or whether I had just paid to join FileWhopper (lovely name btw!). I ...

I use this website when I want my customers to pay for the video files I send them. It’s easy to use and I don’t have to waste time invoicing for the cost of sending. The upload speed is always great!

A worthy file or folder transfer service with no size limitations

Fast Up - Slow Down

Firstly, the service is unique - many such services will not handle the really large files. The setup was simple and the upload was really fast - it was a 40 GB file and took about 3 hours only. The download, however, was very slow. It took 24 hours to fully download. Even though internet speed checks showed my download speed was 48 GB/sec, the FileWhopper panel showed the speed as only 8 to 10 GB/sec and sometimes went down below 1 GB/sec. Not happy with the download speed.
