A good product with lots of options

We have found DNN to be a satisfactory CMS with lots of customize-able features and options. We also have an outstanding development partner that handles virtually all of our implementations, which is a significant factor in our satisfaction with the product.

What just 5 stars... there should be 7.

I've worked with DNN since version 1 and I'm perpetually impressed at the quality, feature set, performance, sales and technical support. DNN Software's timeliness to support and sales service requests is stellar. If you are considering an Intranet portal, Enterprise class portal implementation, massively scalable client facing website(s), the latest killer mobile site/app, or even a super simple community or hobbyist site, DNN deal DO IT!

A very powerful CMS based on .NET

We use Evoq Content Manager to manage a big web site with more than 100 portals, 30.000 active users, and up to 12.000 pages.Evoq is a powerful solution to manage this scenario. We have two web servers with a load balance to get redundance.In comparasion to other PHP CMS Evoq needs few resources on web servers to serve the same ratio of pages.The support given by DNN Software is very helpful and fast.

Flexible product platform

The DNN platform goes the gamut from allowing the non-technical user to easily post content to allowing the super technical user to create their own modules for more unique needs. My biggest kudos go to the support team at DNN. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and swift in their response and solutions with everything from 'where to find something' to 'how to easily fix something that has gone wrong with the database'.

Excellent platform, but lacking out of the box.

The EVOQ platform is a fantastic tool for those willing to spend the time to work with it. Its steps ahead of the restrictive templates of WordPress or Joomla.If you are already comfortable with HTML and ASP, then the open ability for customization on a local server install is far better than their competitors. Good product

Easy to maintain

So sad to see where DNN is now...

Sadly, DNN7 is just chock full of annoying little bugs and glitches, which never get addressed in upgrades, and the "support" that you get as a professional-level customer is just completely pointless, despite the absurd amount of money that they charge for it. It really feels like DNN is a slowing dying beast that isn't being maintained and upgraded, and is very quickly falling further and further behind other CMS's on the market. DNN is ok for developers but hard for users

I'm a front end developer.For me it was easy enough to manipulate the visuals of the site. However I usually edited the templates or added custom css/html/javascript to the page. For our non technical editors (mostly age 30 - 50) the system was limiting and finicky.Also i lacked a .net developer to truly customize the site so making changes to the modules/ or creating a unified look for the admin side was hard.

Good resource and service

Excellent initiative for DNN Corp.I think this will separate DNN from the pack: Listening to their clients, being a resource, and excellent service. Upgrading DNN version for me is really a challenge. However, with DNN support team, they were there to troubleshoot the issue. Kudos on the Canada support team!
