What do you like best about Epic? It's user friendly. Simple to use. I'm a beginner in a new role and it has been easy to catch on to. I use the reporting and billing functions a lot. What do you like best about Epic? The ease of usage and the logical flow of the information as it pertains to every aspect of the patient or the physicion(s) involved with the record keeping. What do you dislike about Epic? Sometimes you would like to review information associated with particular profiles and you can't unless you have the right access to the historical data. What do you like best about Epic? I like that I can access several areas of a patient record all in one screen What do you dislike about Epic? There are alot of tabs in Epic. It is sometimes cumbersome to find the record I am looking for. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? We can get records on mutual patients promptly. We don't have to call or wait on faxes. Saves alot of time

"Very convenient"

What do you like best about Epic? Epic is very fast, reliable, and always easy to use. Everything is straight forward. The in basket makes tasks easier to see for everyone in your pool. I like the intake portion best. What do you dislike about Epic? Sometimes epic will randomly go down for a few hours. Also, some tasks can be found in multiple areas and it could be confusing on where to find things. Messages to providers can be difficult to send and see when they reply What problems is Epic ...

Best practices alerts are an over do; an alert will pop up for illogical reasons Recommendations to others considering Epic: Do the training before starting using it What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Patient care is a lot easier, rounding and checking patients' records

Intuitive software

PROS: Epic gives me a complete overview of our hospital's patient capacity. It doesn't make it hard for users to find the information they need, such as a certain patient's chart. Thumbs-up to this program for being user-friendly. CONS: I can't think of anything that I dislike about Epic.

What do you like best about Epic? Pretty standard as a patient charting tool. What do you dislike about Epic? It can be glitchy and not so userfriendly Recommendations to others considering Epic: I don't know what Epics direct competitor would look like but it has dominated the healthcare space for awhile. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? Mostly patient charting, creating insurance files (MVA claims were the worst), and ICD codes for visits.

What do you like best about Epic? I love the user interface and usability with EPIC. Everything you need is on one page with Epic, and anything that you need to find can easily be searched for using the search feature. What do you dislike about Epic? To be honest, not much. There are frustrating things like "Epic downtime", but I also recognize that every software is going to need updates. What do you like best about Epic? Easy to use layout with many options- I love how you can set up and view the OR schedule. It is color-coded based on patient status and has a ton of detailed information, such as where they are in the process (pre-op, in surgery, post-op, etc.). Easy to use and beneficial search function to look for keywords within the chart. What do you dislike about Epic?
