"Epic Charting"

What do you like best about Epic? It's well organized and easily customizable to your preferences. What do you dislike about Epic? Things you cannot shut off/disable (orders in the brain) that you have to just skip. Can be hard to find certain things sometimes. What problems is Epic solving and how is that benefiting you? User friendly charting, makes it easy to get through tedious charting quicker.

What do you like best about Epic? I enjoy the ease of use with Epic as opposed to the Soarian system our hospital used to utilize. It’s much more user friendly, the formatting isn’t intimidating and anyone with a basic knowledge of computer software can manage to use the system effectively. What do you dislike about Epic? What do you like best about Epic? So much space for information storage. It can save patient information to a near unlimited amount (demographic, imaging, labs, past encounters, etc.). It also has a lot of customizability for those who use Epic regularly. For example, they can save shortcuts or move tabs to their liking or practicality. What do you dislike about Epic? What do you like best about Epic? Accessing patient charts is super easy with this software. It is accessible in many hospital / care centers to carry over EHR information from one facility to another. What do you dislike about Epic? Not compatible with other EMR systems such as Nextech. "Epic is User Friendly"

What do you like best about Epic? What I like best about Epic is that it is user-friendly because Epic is role-specific. When a nurse logs into Epic she will see her workflow exclusively, which makes documentation simpler and workflow specific. What do you dislike about Epic? A review of my experience using Epic

PROS: Epic is very navigatable because of its clean layout. It has a reliable search function that has plenty of filter options available too. CONS: It can be overwhelming to manage options and tabs but as soon as you familiarize yourself with them there is no problem.

"It has been a big upgrade for our company"

What do you like best about Epic? Being able to view everything in one place for my client. I am able to see updates from the providers in real time. I can find everything I need in an organized place. What do you dislike about Epic? We use this for a behavioral health setting. Epic is really set up for more of a medical setting.
