My experience wasnt bad
My experience wasnt bad, I spent some time learning Arabic on the app. They should improve on longer sentences.

If it ain't broke...
If it ain't broke... I used to LOVE duo, so much that I joined the "super" membership but like numerous other reviewers have said, since it's changed to the new system it is now not very user friendly. I feel like I've been in the same lesson for months (I do at least 2 lessons a day). It's also very difficult/ impossible to go back on your timeline to visit past subjects and to see hints. The duo community was a great place to see further explanations but this has been deleted now. So if ...

If it ain't broke... Good for exercise, not good for teaching
OK - the good thing is that Duolingo exposes you to a language in easy stages, getting more complicated. (But getting very very slowly more complicated.) After a week you say "Gosh! I can say 'My owl eats mice!' in German" Of course, you will never need to say that, but it's fun. The bad thing is that Duolingo doesn't actually TEACH you anything. You say things, and it marks you right or it marks you wrong. It never explains WHY. Take German, for example. Very often in German, the verb ...
