Robust and flexible system

PROS: With Confluence, you are limited only by your imagination. First, our development and product teams started using it, then our marketing team joined in so that all units can use one app. You can easily customize your project settings and workflow, and the add-ons offer limitless possibilities.

Integrates well into other services – when done right

PROS: As a company we use JIRA, Confluence and Hipchat. All these services work pretty well together but I believe it requires some work to get them all working well. I like how I can follow specific pages (from different teams in my company) to help me keep up to date with different products; it helps keep me in the know when working for a international company

"Very powerful documentation and collaboration tool!"

What do you like best about Confluence? Confluence has been used by our large organization for several years now.We have several IT and software development teams dispersed in the U.S. and abroad and having such a powerful tool where all information is centrally stored and easily maintained has been invaluable for our company. What do you dislike about Confluence? Advanced features are not always intuitive and easily discoverable which results in a slight learning curve for more complex ...

I use Confluence both for my business and for a community

PROS: Confluence is very affordable and you need to pay only $10/year for 10 users to host the system on-premise. This ensures I can maintain good data security. The app is easy to set up and use as everything is point-and-click. The Spaces feature helps to keep everything organized. You can grant permission to these spaces based on user role and define what each user can do in the spaces.

"Great Product that is a Must Have"

What do you like best about Confluence? Confluence is a great tool to help companies have a centralized knowledge base of resources. I really like the way it can be integrated with other software like JIRA or other tools related to it in Atlassian. The whole lineup of products can make collaboration, software development, and resource documentation a breeze. I do like the online resources available to users being able to find what they need to collaborate on the platform. I really like the ...

Easy to use information portal

PROS: I like the simple user interface that makes it easy to access all the information you need. You can easily share pages with your team members and they can receive updates as soon as you modify the data. The Spaces feature ensures specific areas don’t get cluttered and overflow with info. The page creation functions resemble MS Office apps which makes it easy to work within a page. Plus, you can attach DOC, XLS, PDF files, etc. to a page and launch it immediately.

Excellent wiki/documentation product

PROS: I think Confluence is an excellent app to document procedures and processes. Most people hate documentation, but Confluence is so easy to use it makes the process an enjoyable one. I document a lot and the system enables me to use my keyboard for formatting through macros and keystrokes without needing to use a mouse.
