Confluence is essential for documentation
What do you like best? I like how each team has the chance to organize their internal documentation as they consider best. They are connected to all the Attlassian suite which makes it all very convenient. What do you dislike? The design could improve, they have worked on it but the UI in general is quite ugly. Recommendations to others considering the product Look into the macros to make the most of the product. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Great for documentation
What do you like best? I like that confluence works well for documenting company policy and SOPs What do you dislike? I dislike that Atlassian is fragmented between Jira confluence and hipchat. It can make collaboration between all programs kind of tedious. Recommendations to others considering the product I'd suggest using confluence for SOP documentation. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We had a need to document ...

All info in one place
What do you like best? the fact that you get all the info you need in one tab, without having to go back and forth all the time. Also, the ability to link it with your mail provider and get updates on topics you're interested in. What do you dislike? the fact that people's comments are a bit hard to follow. Would love if we could personalize each group/topic. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Team meetings and team processes. ...

Easy Editing and Collaborating Platform
What do you like best? What I like best about Confluence is that you can create and edit pages easily with drag and drop capabilities when it comes to images, files and tables. You also have the option to export pages as PDF or Word documents which is great if you need to keep an offline copy of a page. The search capabilities are great and you also have the ability to tag people in the comments of a page as well as set notifications so you know whenever a change to a page has been made. ...

Great and simple to use knowledge base platform
What do you like best? A very simple tool/platform to use. Like any other Atlassian product - Confluence has Simple UI, very quick and fun to use. The simplicity encourages users to contribute data, write articles and interact with each other. Bottom line - Confluence is a great tool for collaborating coworkers and for keeping information and knowledge that everybody can and should access. What do you dislike? Sometimes - it is too simplified. I would like to have better WYSIWYG ...

Great place to start a Knowledge Base
What do you like best? I love the ease of moving from page to page. The search logic makes it easy for me to find documents that I need. Since our company has been building these pages for years, there's a whole lot of data there. You can build a pretty good library of documents and pages with an ease of a click. What do you dislike? There's not much that I dislike about this. One minor thing would be if the page would save automatically after 5 minutes or so. A page has timed out ...

It does the job; nothing more, nothing less
What do you like best? I think the search functionality is pretty good, especially the ability to filter by last modified date. What do you dislike? It's just one more place where I need to remember to look for potential information on a topic. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? knowledge sharing via wiki pages; glossary

Using Box to store research insights for product/design teams.
What do you like best? Our entire company uses Confluence to store technical documentation and other internal documents. We used to keep our research in Evernote, which had some great search capabilities. But, we moved to Confluence because all of our employees were already using it on a daily basis. This made it easier to share our research insights much more broadly. Some of the built-in macros make it much easier to curate content related to specific topic areas–e.g., creating a list ...
