Engineer who uses Confluence everyday for documenting and postmortems.

What do you like best? The ability to create templates and hook with jira is awesome. What do you dislike? Ability to create templates is complicated, i would want to get my work done as quickly and as easily as possible rather than focusing on how to do. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Documenting various applications and also as a knowledge store.

Good for documentation, but search is limited

What do you like best? Easy to use and create new pages. Editing and granting access is simple. What do you dislike? Without control over where things are put and who should create things where, it quickly becomes a mess and hard to find content. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy to share documentation

Handy project management tool, improves internal communication

What do you like best? The fact the entire team can remain up-to-date on developments within each department. It helps there's one integrated project management tool we all have access to, and we can all adjust ourselves. There's an integration with JIRA, in which we assign tasks to other team members or ourselves. Version upgrades have been disruptive and have required us to apply development resources to ensuring customizations don't break What business problems are you solving with the product? I love it so much I'd tattoo it on my arm... if I had tattoos

What do you like best? Confluence is incredibly easy to use for anything you need when it comes to collaborating on business-related content. What do you dislike? Using the server version the costs can ramp up rather quickly. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use Confluence for displaying and sharing automated dashboards. It has allowed us to ensure that we're all working off of the same information.
