Occasional Hiccups, over still the best CI!
What do you like best? I think what I like the most is the support for so many different systems and configurations that CircleCI is essentially your one-stop-shop for CI. This is especially useful in cross-platform projects like many of the ones I work with. What do you dislike? Every so often, CI just seems stalled out and can takes a while to recover. Not unlike any other alternative, but it’s an annoyance nonetheless. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Great tool that has endless possibilities
What do you like best? The orb community is growing and really something to look forward to. Easy of setup and testing. The dashboard is easy to navigate. What do you dislike? There are not much that I dislike at this point. There was a bit of a learning curve at first, but after upgrading to latest version and reading through documentation things are fairly easy to implement Recommendations to others considering the product: Patience! Take time to read the documentation. Lots of ...

Very efficient CI/CD tool!
What do you like best? I can easily deploy changes in my application by using this product. It handles deployment and is responsible for ensuring that nothing is broken before releasing in production by running my test suites. I also get notified immediately whenever there are failing tests so I can fix it right away. What do you dislike? Due to the increasing number of developers in our company, we usually get delayed in deployments when the containers are insufficient. Hopefully ...

Its been so easy to set it up.
What do you like best? Ease of setup. Ability to handle both private and public repositories. The ability to add more resources for run tests was amazing. What do you dislike? I was using the free tier. And the builds would stop due to the threshold set on the free tier builds. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I worked with a client on who valued privacy of their code. Circle CI was able to do provide privacy and trust while I ...

Great for automated Accountability
What do you like best? GitHub integration is great since you can require the tests to pass before a PR can be merged What do you dislike? I hate having to wait for other tests to be ran before knowing if mine passes. This can slow down how quick a hot fix PR gets deployed Recommendations to others considering the product: Use it, don’t get too far along on a project without testing. Don’t generate the technical debt before it’s too late. What problems are you solving with the ...

Great experience!
What do you like best? Great support! Instant feedback! Great integrations with other services as well. CircleCI is tightly integrated with our deployment and testing workflows and we are completely satisfied with the product! What do you dislike? The UI is a little hard to use - I wish the user experience was a little better. The colors, fonts, styling could be better when compared to other comparable tools. It's hard to find the right build I'm looking for - some searching, tagging, ...

Happy experience moving from Jenkins
What do you like best? Easy to share configuration via workflows, contexts, orbs. Very good Docker support What do you dislike? Web UI hierarchy of jobs vs workflows is confusing to me It's not easy to report on jobs at an organization-wide level What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our main workload is building .NET Core applications and deploying via CloudFormation. This includes spinning up complex end-to-end automated test ...

Great product JENKINS Killer
What do you like best? it plugs and plays with github repos very easily. What do you dislike? sometimes it's hard to see the connection between your config files and the UI Recommendations to others considering the product: Get started easily by connecting to your github account What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Learning how to research the answers to questions I have. Like - how do you have separate workflow per branch.

Good Product, but More Investment Needed in Server
What do you like best? CircleCI provides quite a nice declarative interface for CI/CD pipelines. We use CircleCI for everything from application code CI/CD to deployment of our infrastructure via Terraform, to pushing Kubernetes manifests for K8s resources. The integration with GitHub is nice, and the support for GitHub releases is a very nice feature. I think the real power of CircleCI is that application teams are able to completely own their own pipelines. By storing configuration ...
