"Pretty good EHR system"

What do you like best about Cerner? I have used 3 different charting systems as a nurse and this was my middle of the road choice. It flows like Microsoft word which I was very familiar with so that was easy to get used to this program and all the shortcuts and how it worked. "Not bad, not great "

What do you like best about Cerner? Being able to start and complete multiple exams on the same patient. (Imaging tech) What do you dislike about Cerner? It's still very confusing, wish everything was more streamlined. What problems is Cerner solving and how is that benefiting you? It replaced a very outdated system the hospital system was using.

What do you like best about Cerner? Once you get used to Cerner, it works well. What do you dislike about Cerner? There are a million different places that you can document a single task. Recommendations to others considering Cerner: I’ve worked with better systems. What problems is Cerner solving and how is that benefiting you? Some charting systems are more difficult than Cerner.

What do you like best about Cerner? Easy to use. Seems to be very customizable What do you dislike about Cerner? I haven’t personally found things I dislike. I’m not an administrator but if there is ever a problem or something that needs fixed it gets done. Requests I have made to alter our charting in Cerner have been completed if approved by management. What do you like best about Cerner? The icons and colors to define sections and assignments make it user friendly What do you dislike about Cerner? I dislike that there is no easy way to chart notes without writing a clinical event. "Solid EMR System"

What do you like best about Cerner? It does a good job of organizing all of the records and having a diverse set-up to capture it all What do you dislike about Cerner? It isnt as user friendly as other EMRs like EPIC. You need more clicks to get to where you want to go. Recommendations to others considering Cerner: Be prepared for a high learning curve but it has a lot of capabilities once you learn it. What problems is Cerner solving and how is that benefiting you? "Decent for a new user"

What do you like best about Cerner? It has fairly intuitive functionality that made it easy to switch to Cerner from Epic which I used at my previous job. What do you dislike about Cerner? It can be annoying to toggle between all the different pages. I have had issues with writing notes in one window, having to leave it to fetch some other data, and then losing my work on the note and having to start over again. What do you like best about Cerner? Cerner is very easy to use. The Ad Hoc I believe is the best feature, and this is something Epic is lacking. Cerner is very easy to navigate. What do you dislike about Cerner? Having to use Athena to check in patients, and not having access to outside records (which they have started to do with Wheaten Franciscan records) Recommendations to others considering Cerner: I believe cerner is much easier than using EPIC.
