"I used Cerner PowerChart in a small community hospital setting and it was a good EHR."

What do you like best about Cerner? There is a lot of information that can be stored/obtained in Cerner, which flows well between different departments. Saves A LOT of time over paper charting when done as an EMR. What do you dislike about Cerner? The learning curve is a bit large. This system does so much, there is a lot to learn. What do you like best about Cerner? I love that the new Cerner dynamic documentation includes different templates and dot phrases. I also like the ability to link certain diagnoses with different medications. What do you dislike about Cerner? I dislike that the new Dynamic Documentation does not allow to switch authors of the note. As I am a medical scribe, not a physician, after the physician signs my note that I created for them, it still looks as if I, myself, signed off on the note. So ...

What do you like best about Cerner? I enjoy the method it uses for a straight-forward charting system in hospitals. It generally is simple to follow and does not take too much time to become proficient at. What do you dislike about Cerner? If I cannot find something, Cerner does not allow users to search directly for what their looking for. What problems is Cerner solving and how is that benefiting you? Health care documentation. Allows all actions that an employee encounters to be documented.

What do you like best about Cerner? This charting system is very user friendly, which helps maintain efficiency in a fast pace role. Fields are customizable, and the layout allows for easy navigation of the chart. Hard stops can be placed, plenty of areas for comments and free text. What do you like best about Cerner? The efficiency of powernote is extremely useful. Instead of manually editing the note in clinical notes, I can click to insert certain phrases which I can then edit. What do you dislike about Cerner? Not enough options. There were some limitations as to what I can put in the note. What problems is Cerner solving and how is that benefiting you? "Great Functionality"

What do you like best about Cerner? Cerner is a great healthcare management tool in that it encompasses everything needed for assessment. The drop down boxes with pre-inserted descriptions allow charting to happen quicker than other “fill in the box” narratives. The live time stamp helps with accuracy.
