Dynamic DAM platform

Canto is very flexible and adaptable platform that has really streamlined our workflows and made our materials accessible to our statewide staff across three different offices. It's also made it a much simpler process to search and find good visual assets for various needs, and to share out photo and video documentation with back to artists we work with easily. The price is cost-prohibitive for smaller organizations, but the investment has been an important one for our organization in really ...

Dest DAM system

I set up Cantos original DAM system "Cumulus" at Honda R&D in California more than 10 years ago to help access, secure and organize their tens of thousands of vehicle, facility and product assets. It helped tremendously reduce the time needed to find and download files. The security of our images is most important. To ingest the files and know they are safe and easily found is key. Canto makes a great product used world wide for just this purpose.I recently helped nonprofit Surfing Heritage ...

Canto over Dropbox

When we were on Dropbox, we constantly got confused by duplicates coming from syncing issues. We constantly wanted more features for organizing and searching content. Canto erased all of those issues. It gave us so many features that we now rely on everyday.

Canto is Everything

Canto is clean, but also flexible. It's perfect for internal use, as well as client use. I can't recommend it enough. Digital asset management is key, and Canto nails it on every front.

Best DAM product on the market

What do you like best? It has many great features so it's hard to select just one but I work with a lot of photographers who contract with our company. Being able to provide them a link to upload their images directly into Canto is a time saver! What do you dislike? I wish the download icon was larger and easier to find. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are able to control which images the regular employee sees and downloads and ...

Digital Asset Management - Organization At Its Finest

What do you like best? I love how easy it is to customize for my business. It's clean, but also flexible. I also like that I can share content with more than just my team. I can create links for client and allow clients to share content with us, which makes it much easier to send and receive assets. Not only does it help with client relations, but it also helps us internally. When we have assets that need to be shared across the team, it's so much easier to just put everything in Canto, ...

Canto is D.A.M. Good

What do you like best? The ease of use and accessibility of the tool. What do you dislike? Little to dislike but would be interesting to have a greater degree of brand customization w/in the tool. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have been using Canto now for over two years as our one-stop-shop for all of our forward-facing brand assets. From imagery to videos and logos to digital catalogs, Canto has helped our business share ...

Intuitive Interface, Good tagging options

What do you like best? I think Canto has done a good job at implementing a balanced product. I was looking for several different ways of tagging assets. The AI tagging, descriptions, keywords, tags, + custom tags. Interface is easy to use. Some ability to customize layout to show/hide meta information. The other feature I really liked was the ability to create portals to share photos from albums without having to create users for those outside of our team. What do you dislike? ...

Canto Digital Asset Management

What do you like best? It has a very user-friendly interface. It's visual and easy to navigate. It has great search and filter features. You can send people directly to an asset without giving them access to everything. It also comes with a portal, which you can customize to be private or public and share with anyone. What do you dislike? You can’t upload a separate cover image for your album; you have to use one that is already in your library (it has to be an actual asset). This ...

Its a good DAM system for media management

What do you like best? We like that the system is relatively easy to use. We like that we can segment media and have it all searchable by keywords/tags. It's also a great value compared to the competition. What do you dislike? Support could be much better, they have dropped the ball on a major issue I had and put it back on me to "Create a video" which I have no time for. They need to dive in more and figure out the bugs. Simply telling me "We couldn't recreate the problem" when ...
