"Camtasia works, and it is intuitive"
What do you like best about Camtasia? A lot of these types of apps either require heavy resources of your computer, or they are complicated to use. Camtasia runs smoothly and is intuitive. What do you dislike about Camtasia? I wish you could more easily just export the file using exactly the size, frame rate, etc. of the recorded file. I also wish you could have a calculated file size for various export settings. Recommendations to others considering Camtasia: This is the best and most ...

"Great"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Easy to learn video editing tool. You can press S to split a video or audio clip What do you dislike about Camtasia? Limited music sound tracks. There's not an easy way to lower or raise the volume on a voice over or music track. You have to right click and put in a number. It would be cool to have a volume bar that you can drag to adjust volume What problems is Camtasia solving and how is that benefiting you? Instructional videos. I can highlight the ...

"Excellent and user friendly software"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Easy to use and great range of transitions that really make my videos more professional. What do you dislike about Camtasia? I'd like to be able to add more overlay options like floating text which I have to do in another application. Unless I haven't found this functionality. Recommendations to others considering Camtasia: If you are new to using editing software I really believe this is an excellent software to get because there are lots of tutorials ...

"Does an excellent job. Pity about the glitches"
What do you like best about Camtasia? Intuitive user interface, for positioning multiple video streams, and especially snapping to the edge and centre line markers. Using it in combination with the 2012 Microsoft Moviemaker and the VLC media player (for format conversion) was easy. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Crashes for no obvious reason, during video rendering. No explanation given, but autosave means all is not lost. However, experience with autosave in other suppliers products ...

"Great All-In-One Video Editing for Online Course Creation"
What do you like best about Camtasia? With Camtasia you have multiple tracks on which you can layer any media, from video tracks to audio tracks, editable titles, callouts and shapes. This is a step-up from iMovie which I was using previously. What do you dislike about Camtasia? Audio editing is still problematic. It can be difficult to get consistent sound quality across split clips. I'd also like to see automated closed captioning added to Camtasia. Recommendations to others considering ...

"So user friendly, it makes me look really skilled"
What do you like best about Camtasia? The user interface (UI) is so intuitive, that beginners can have a beautiful finished product in no time. There are lots of options so even an experienced user can enjoy playing around and learning new things. I love how if I have time I can really take advantage of the advanced features but if I need to make something look good quickly, I can do that, easily! What do you dislike about Camtasia? I would LOVE more templates available, included in the ...

"Best, most cost-effective method to edit and produce great visual content"
What do you like best about Camtasia? The ease of use. The first time I tried Camtasia I found the IF pretty intuitive. It does require a little knowledge of video timelines but nothing onerous - I found i could pick up quite a bit without help. When it came time to learn more than I could guess I found the online tutorials short and helpful, they generally got straight to the point and solved typical operational issues. What do you dislike about Camtasia? I can't say there's much of ...
