Grammatic learning should be improved

I joined the bussu community since I was interested in learning German and Russian. Now, for the understanding of how to correctly use these languages it's quite important to study the grammatical rules on which the grammatical syntaxes are based. There is no reference whatsoever of the grammatical rules of Russian language! You should not only include this in your learning topic, but also, try to make exercises in order to make them be progressively incorporated... This is not something ...

I've stopped using busuu

I decided that busuu didn't serve my language learning needs any more as it was too expensive. I enjoyed it as a beginner in my chosen language, but once I moved beyond level A2, I wasn't so keen. I would recommend busuu to users and learners at levels A1 and A2. Once I complete my studies I might consider starting another language from scratch, in which case I would consider busuu depending on the subscription fee.

So So Learning

I stopped learning because there were technical flaws in recordings and the voice recording was TOO fast for me as a beginner. I also needed to figure out how the grammar structure worked.

Unbeatable!

The free service is great, but the premium service takes it to another level. This is as close as you can get to private instruction.

Solid overall product with some major problems

The site is good. I've learned, and I don't regret paying for a premium account. However, there are some problems that make it non-impressive, especially compared to alternatives such as Mango Languages. I am not impressed that the site leans closer to the Rosetta Stone approach for learning grammar, which is rote memorization. In fact, in the earlier levels (I haven't made it to the later ones), it's flat out dangerous. You encourage the use of the "tu" form (or its equivalent in other ...

Busuu.com is awesome!

I have recommended this site to numerous friends. It is easy to use and really fun. Corrections come in very fast to any of the exercises I post and the "correctors" are so encouraging and positive. I can move at my own pace and work on the areas where I need most help. I have varying degrees of proficiency in 4 lanugages so I can work at different levels and different speeds whenever I wish. I've had a few technical problems and the tech staff has been easy to access, quick to respond, and ...

This is so much FUN!

You will want to make time for this! I love learning German on Busuu! It's easy and fun to use. I enjoy the ease of the system set-up and the many various activities there are to do. I never thought I would be learning a new language! Busuu tracks your progress and gives you a real sense of accomplishment, adding to your desire to continue. I have used other on-line language sites but Busuu is indeed superior to them. I have also made many new friends in different countries and enjoy ...

Smart, interactive and makes learning fun and with visable results too

A easy to use format and user friendly website. It brings learning a language to life with colour, relevant exercises and a chance to speak directly with native speakers. It is easy to track you progress and set your targets as you progress . The option to submit exercises for review by native speakers is a great idea. The Busuu berries are a good motivation tool also ! Highly recommended.

Busuu.com is the best inter-active language learning program I've seen, by far.

For ages, I've been trying to find a website that will help me learn and more importantly, SPEAK Polish - and I've been introduced to Busuu.com. I was previously on PolishPod101, and indeed, still use that site for just vocabulary learning. But Busuu ticks a lot of the required boxes that I need, but with a few notable exceptions. I.e. I need someone I can call on when I'm actually constructing the writing portions of each section. And more particularly, I need someone to just repeat all ...

I do love Busuu!

Thanks to your idea of Busuu.com I can still, being very busy doing my job, spend time learning French. It's fun, it's a pleasure. Thanks a lot to the Busuu team.
