Very helpful site - custom tests and building the garden make it helpful and engaging

I signed up on busuu a while ago and even though I don't use it every day I've found it to be an excellent resource. The approach is structured with exercises and modules focusing on one particular theme. Words from the vocab sessions can be stored for later and you can make tests for yourself to check how well you remember them. One of my favourite features is that the levels are not vague (e.g. beginner, intermediate, advanced) but are tied to the Common European Framework of Reference ...

Quick response to one of my trouble reports.

Prior to 2014, I have used Busuu to study Russian. But in the spring of 2014, I studied French instead and saved a lot of words and phrases to "my vocabulary" I quit my French studies later in 2014 and did not return to 'Busuu French' until a week or so ago. The 'practice' functionality had stopped working, partly because my saved words in 2014 had gone stale, perhaps because the database tables had been altered. I suggested flushing out all the old stuff, since I knew French pretty well ...

An excellent way of learning a new language , and make friends along the way !!

Busuu Is a fab way of learning a new language, or languages. You can work at your own speed. It is fun You can make new online friends. You can help other who are learning your native language, and vice versa. I would recommend it to anyone ;o)

Incredibly easy to use, fabulous language learning tool

I am an English teacher, and I use this site to learn both Spanish and French. I have made a few friends on here who are learning English, and their levels have improved very well by using this site. As a language learning tool, it is almost as good as a comprehensive classroom environment and very very easy to use. I would recommend Busuu to anyone looking to learn a language in their spare time, it is a very good, useful and correct language learning tool. 5 stars!

This website is worth every penny.

No other language learning website, or software for that matter, compares to Busuu.com. The program is fun, easy, and actually works. There are a variety of packages and pricing options which make it accessable to everyone; from the serious student who plans on picking apart a language in depth for two years, to the casual learner who just needs the basics. I can't wait to see the new and exciting ways in which Busuu.com continues to improve on an already fantastic product.

There are so many errors in the japanese course pages, it is really annoying

The errors even don't get fixed when reported. Also, that there is no Kanji used in the japanese course is really sad.

Fantastic learning experience!

This language course is fantastic. It covers every aspect of learning a new language, from simple words and sentences to interactive chat with others and also includes learning to pronounce words correctly and how to read and write alwell. Other people correct your work and in return you correct theirs and so everybody is involved. The monthly charge is well worth while in my opinion.

It's a great start to learn new languages!

I started with Busuu to learn spanish. It's amazing how good everything works and it's really fun to do. I think it has a lot of potential for the future. The best is that you can try it for free for and don't need to pay at all. I did become a member because it was cheap anyways and I would like to support it. Give it a try and start learning.

Brilliant - easy to learn

Nicely laid out and easy to use which makes it easy to learn. Good idea to hook up with natives, helps with pronunciation.

Very good in general

My suggestion is that if the grammar part is more closely linked with the courses, that would be even better. Now, I have to go to Collins separately to click through the right page to read the relevant grammar. Is it possible that a link can be built within each unit such that the appropriate grammar page can be linked upon clicking?
