Simple changes could make Busuu outstanding.

Busuu is a great idea to keep enthusiasm for learning a language going but there are some straightforward things which can be done to maximise the experience. The site does some things very well but there is definitely scope for improvement. Automatic renewal of premium subscription is not good.

My intention was getting a premium account for only one month, but because of the automatic renewal I have been charged again and I still have a premium account which I'm not using (or maybe only for checking other users' exercises). ---- Reply to your answer Dear Busuu team, I had done that right after receiving a notification about the renewal as well as changing my subscription settings. Excellent site for learning a language

This is an excellent site for learning a language. I used it to learn Russian. I knew nothing of Russian when I started and in a year I could converse with people and read and write. They have a free membership and a paid membership. You need to use the paid membership to gain all the benefits. Its a great way to learn another language~

I have really enjoyed and learnt alot from Busuu, the only thing I would like is to have some games for memory of the words etc. but you can get heaps of apps. for that anyway. You have to make sure to read and practice all of the words/phrases AND also the sentances it gives you down the bottom because it asks you questions on it later. I love correcting other peoples work and the feedback I have been given from native speakers has been really useful.

Super useful and user friendly

I'm really so happy that I'm using busuu. For the first time I saw good, user friendly and easy way to learn language. The lessons are very well structured. I'll recommend and I recommended to all my friends which needed to learn foreign languages!

Trouble free and user friendly website.

I have had so much fun learning French on busuu.com. I also find it very stimulating. It takes a few weeks to find your feet and become part of the community.

It's a great tool to pick up a language! It's very interactive and fun. Love that other language learners give you useful comments and encourage each other.

I learn things I did not know and I see the effort at improvement!

The chat function has been abandoned by users. Nobody answers chat requests. I suggest an automatic pronunciation tool as replacement.
