Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.
Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.

Everything in One Place
What do you like best? The best thing about Basecamp 3 is the ability to have everything in one spot. Pings have replaced the occasional work text, the chat eliminates the need for some kind of group chat like Slack, the discussions are way better than email, and the files and documents feature has really been improved and works well with different cloud storage providers. The to-do and check-in systems are also fantastic. What do you dislike? We miss some of the calendar features of ...

What do you like best? Easy to add and loop in people from multiple department and companies, easy to share files and see previous project histories. What do you dislike? The search function is not very easy to use, sometimes hard to "search for" stuff What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Collaboration across different teams

Limited Abilities
What do you like best? Basecamp is affordable, allows you to have unlimited users, and is easy enough to set up. I appreciate the ability to drag and drop to-do lists, our launch dates often change and this feature makes it easy to adjust our projects. What do you dislike? As we have conversations within a project, there is no way to "tag" a person or assign the project to that person to let them know their attention is needed to move forward. While you can choose who receives email ...

Enhances smooth operations within a project
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? It is perfect tool for teams which are working remotely. A team member can assign a task to another member on the same platform without having to meet or call them. This is because a notification is send to the person assigned automatically where they take on the task. There is also a to-do list for team members such that they know what they are supposed to do within the project. With this feature, it is possible to check the ...

Project teams are able to meet the deadline with ease
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? It focuses on taking care of who takes what task. When dealing with a project, you have to be a team which means each of the members will have their duties to see the project a success. Basecamp has reminders such that when you are assigned a task, it sends emails automatically to you in the form of notifications. For the purpose of security, you can hide some items on the system or make them readable to clients. This makes things ...

Basecamp Collaboration
What do you like best? It is a fairly stripped back collaboration tool. The simplicity of the front end and relatively pain free user experience means that there are no barriers to engagement. What do you dislike? Is it better than a competing tool such as Trello? I'm not sure. As a repository for discussion and documents, it is ok, but I wouldn't say it stands alone without competition. Recommendations to others considering the product There are plenty of free project management ...

Good.
What do you like best? Easy to use, nice interface. Great for smaller projects, would be a little lacking for more complex ones. What do you dislike? The functionality can be limited. I don't love the layout of the calendar feature. Recommendations to others considering the product Definitely solid for managing projects, but could have more features. Great for pretty small projects, I don't think it would be robust enough for more complex projects. What business problems are you ...

extremely helpful most of the time, but depends on org processes too
What do you like best? the visual way it centralises all the tasks to be completed What do you dislike? customisability - making less important threads more transparent, for example, or highlighting critical path tasks Recommendations to others considering the product use the tool consistently, but also learn more about process (eg. lean so that you can maximise the efficiency of the tool. it is best used in conjunction with a strong process background. What business problems are ...
