Basecamp pros and cons
Simple, user-friendly interface that is intuitive even for beginners, making it easy for teams to adopt and use efficiently.
Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.
Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.
Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.
Lacks robust customization options for advanced users, particularly in file storage and integrations, which can limit flexibility.
Minimalist feature set may lack advanced capabilities like complex reporting or kanban customization that power users might expect.

Basecamp is the product you need to run your Company. Period.
What do you like best? One app solution, it helps internal-talks that is their campfire feature. Their notice board for all company intros and notices. Project based tier features. Its likely the only solution you need in getting things done. We love opening basecamp first thing in the morning and thus develop and cultivate work structure. What do you dislike? Pricing is the biggest caveat, It should be cheap for up-coming small business companies. So they should also create smalll ...

Excellent Project Management Tool
What do you like best? Works well for centralized communications in teams across a broad geography, or working in different companies. What do you dislike? Moderately steep learning curve to make the best use of the system. Recommendations to others considering the product: We haven't found a more easy-to-use tool for cross-company communications, moderate learning curve to make full use, thereafter it is a powerful tool. What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Difficult to Use
What do you like best? I like that you get emails for tasks you're on, as well as general daily updates What do you dislike? I have used basecamp at two different places and there were issues both times. The first time I was working at a small non-profit where many employees were generally hesitant towards new technology. We were using basecamp in coordination with Gather Content to create a new website with a marketing firm and it was generally quite difficult to get everyone on ...

Manage my project better
What do you like best? If you are working on multiple projects with numerous people, it could get messy. Basecamp is the software that can help get you in track with your projects. It has a simple and sleek design and it is user friendly. You can also add your client so they can have a peek of the development of the projects and you can control what the client can see. You can also control your previous projects by pulling up the earlier versions of your work. It is a robust online space ...

Projects sorted and managed in one place
What do you like best? Basecamp has a very appropriate interface for easy use. In addition, projects can be easily visualized because they have their own space. It promotes order and effective communication about projects by keeping many people within the same projects and giving access in a simple way. The workflow increases with its recurring use. What do you dislike? I think it is in great condition and I hope it remains an excellent software. Nothing bad to comment. ...

The simplest way to manage a project.
What do you like best? I've used Trello, Airtable, and Basecamp for project management - but Basecamp is the simplest and most effective of the three, in my opinion. It makes it easy to see exactly who is doing what, set up deadlines, and have conversations on relevant tasks right there within the base. You can also choose who gets notified when there is activity or conversation around a particular task, so you avoid the dreaded notification backlog about things that aren't relevant to ...

An easy to use online platform to organise projects
What do you like best? Supports integration with a wide variety of service (e.g. cloud services such as Google Drive & DropBox), usable free version without any credit cards, practical project management and featured companion mobile application. What do you dislike? Interface especially the reporting section can get better. There is room to improve and adding advanced features. There is a very limited number of projects on the personal plan. Recommendations to others considering ...
