Basecamp pros and cons

  • Simple, user-friendly interface that is intuitive even for beginners, making it easy for teams to adopt and use efficiently.

  • Centralizes all project information, including documents, tasks, and communications, enabling seamless collaboration and organization.

  • Strong team collaboration tools, including real-time communication, task assignments, and notifications to keep everyone aligned.

  • Highly effective for remote and hybrid teams, allowing easy management of tasks and communication across distances.

Superior project management system

What do you like best? The fact you can assign/check off tasks makes it easy to monitor the progress of your project, no matter how many people are involved. We typically work on multiple projects at once so it's useful that all documents, messages and tasks relating to that progress are boxed off from each other, reducing the chance of human error. Also get the option of having a daily update so you can see where you're all up to and what is left to do. It's so handy! In terms of user ...

Increased work productivity thanks to excellent time management

What do you like best? It makes everything much easier, allowing each project you plan to be fluid, complete and with a good organizational base. I like tha ability offered by its complete and very well managed interface, thanks to this I can manage to keep everything in order, from emails, chats, tasks and organization of important documents, all from a single platform: Basecamp. Each project that we carry out now is more fluid and accurate, it meets exactly every objective that I ...

Basecamp review

What do you like best? Basecamp is not all about project collaboration, i also do enjoy the forum that I can created and have my team and my colleague commenting there discussing our works. Basecamp user interface is clean and easy to follow, making it so comfortable to focus on the system even after a few hours. What do you dislike? Some of the features in project collaboration can be confusing and doesn't work like it should be. Every time i am sharing my schedule in the calendar ...

TCD Communications

What do you like best? How it gathers all conversations and files in one place. What do you dislike? that is doesn't 1 - allow you to use color on the fonts, nor underline feature 2 - I can not have a signature field so that I don't have to type it in every time. 3 - That it doesn't allow you to post an out of the office message to notify clients that you are out of the office. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The ...

It is a very simple project management…

It is a very simple project management tool that does a lot things decently, just not great. It can do a checklist, but not recurring to-dos. Attached files get embedded so they take up a ton of space. The design of the interface is visually appealing but not the best user experience. The search doesn't do a great job. The folder and document management system is very simplistic. The clientside emails have problems with nested threads and no signature. It is great if you're looking for ...

Basecamp is a fantastic tool

Basecamp is a fantastic tool. I was disappointed when they discontinued their free and tiered versions few years ago. But now, with this update, small businesses can thrive. On Nov 2019 they launched Basecamp Personal, which I find suitable for my needs
