Never trust your data to Backblaze!!Their app is really buggy!After a long time I was finally able to backup my 7tb of data. Then the software started to use the complete RAM of my computer, making it completely useless.I contacted support and they wrote me: "Sorry but you have to delete your backup and start again from scratch". When I asked why this would happen, their explanation was that "I shouldn't rename folders which contains many files" (??Stay away from Backblaze!!!

Seems excellent so far

Seems excellent so far. I installed it and it made an intelligent decision about what to back up and did it - I’m an IT professional but know myself well enough to admit that I wouldn’t bother setting up and monitoring a more configurable solution. The iphone app is very basic but seems to work - being able to check easily that a particular file is backed up (you can download from the app is very reassuring. Backblaze is a great unlimited backup solution at a great price!

What do you like best? It's cheap ($5/month, simple and very easy to use. Plus, it's unlimited, and it automatically/continuously backs up all files, including those on external drives. I love that Backblaze offers a 15-day free trial, as well. I got to see if I like it, before I purchased the plan. This is if you are in the UK. You pay a lot for this service and everything goes well until you need back up and restore. Then you REALLY pay for it. The $99 becomes over £100! They say it includes the import taxes so you go ahead with it! THEN YOU GET THE BILL FROM FEDEX! This is for the Import duty of an item that costs roughly £19! Great cloud storage solution

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? BackBlaze is great product for backing up to a cloud that I currently use to back up image files and SQL Databasles from servers. It has easy interface and it allows me to sync via NAS Synology Rackstation where my local backups reside. It’s great when is set as a task to a backup directly to this cloud.
