Axure: Fantastic Prototyping Tool
What do you like best? Easy to create rich prototypes, easy to install, UI is clean and relatively simple to use. What do you dislike? There are some crashing issues that occur when you have multiple prototypes loaded. If the wireframes are very resource heavy, there is some significant lag. Zooming function is very choppy. Recommendations to others considering the product Axure is a robust prototyping tool from which you can whip up prototypes in a quick and efficient manner. I ...

The most flexible wireframing and prototyping tool outthere
What do you like best? I like how fast it is to do wireframes with Axure. They have Masters, Dynamic panels, etc that allows to have a very efficient workflow. It is also really easy to do complex prototypes. It is the only tool that I know of that allows to do conditions and pass variable to create very interactive prototypes. What do you dislike? I would like Axure to generate vector drawings and allow to export as PDF or SVG. When I'm drawing flows I can't do much with them if their ...

Very powerful tool
What do you like best? I like that you can almost do anything that you can currently do on a website, if feels like you building a real website. I also like that you have all the tools you need such as images, icons, shapes you can basically design and prototype all in one place which makes it so much easier for me. What do you dislike? The number one thing I would say is it's not as visual, it doesn't look as pretty as a photoshop mockup or a sketch UI, it has more of a technical feel ...

Somewhat of a large learning curve initially but extremely powerful prototyping program
What do you like best? The best part of Axure is the functionality to mimic web interactions. Once the capabilities of dynamics panels is learned, it is feasible to create a clickable prototype that is identical to any coded website and yet there is no code needed. When plugins such as carousels, calendars, and maps are introduced, a designer can go even further in creating a high fidelity prototype. What do you dislike? As powerful of a program that it is, there are some usability ...

Powerful but Not Useful Tool
What do you like best? I have been using Axure RP for couple of years now. Although it is not my main wireframing or prototyping tool, I still like it power and what it can provide (if you want to create a complex prototypes. The main features I like in Axure is libraries (although there are not much. Easy drag and drop elements is another nice feature. Also, ability to create a clickable prototypes right in the same software. What do you dislike? Although Axure is pretty powerful ...

The most advanced prototype tool
What do you like best? Axure is a robust prototype software, with advanced interactions, responsive and sharing features. What do you dislike? The learning curve is what avoid a lot of people to better understand and use the its full potential. Recommendations to others considering the product Mainly if you need a hi-fidelity and funcional prototype, Axure is one of the best tools for that. The only issue I see is with the adaptive views (responsive prototype, when you have so ...

Variety of functions from quick to advanced prototypes but could be more user-friendly
What do you like best? The possibility to create masters for elements you want to re-use so you don't have to re-create the duplicates if you have to modify the original one. Dynamic panel are a great way to create animated elements that can change of state when mousing over for example. the possibility to share the wireframes. the possibility to export blueprints through Word What do you dislike? The Preview/prototype interface that you have to open in a browser does not ...

Axure needs to improve Prototyping
What do you like best? This is the best software for professional prototyping. It has numerous features to create libraries and templates elements, allows a fairly advanced editing actions, movements and effects. What do you dislike? The biggest problem is Axure if compared to newer competitors where prototyping has become much easier and faster. And I believe it would not be possible to simplify this software (as competitors because of the amount of resources and their current ...

Feature rich, but steep learning curve, funky UI, slow to use compared to others
What do you like best? Axure has pretty good masters, widget libraries, styles, layout and interaction tools. It also allows you to share (publish your wireframes and prototypes with your team (password protected if needed over the web for free via AxShare. You can also generate HTML files which can be used elsewhere in other programs. What do you dislike? The palettes and tools' design leaves a lot to be desired. It feels a bit clunky and Windows-like vs. Mac graphic tools like ...
