What do you like best about Avalara? Avalara is simple and easy to use. It offers what is needed without having so many features that it's cumbersome to learn. It also integrates nicely with other systems for a seamless filing, and does a great job of identifying potential compliance gaps.

"It has not worked for us"
What do you like best about Avalara? It would be a great tool to help us calculate US tax for our US customers, and it appears that it should be working with our invoicing system on Kimble. it is a great tool.

"The software needs work."
What do you like best about Avalara? The software has a good deal of bugs. Their support team seems swamped and it takes a while to get ahold of someone with the background required and able to address the problems. There are team members that genuinely care but I've had support cases closed without really reading into the problem far enough to understand that the core issue hasn't been addressed.

"Has everything you need to complete your sales tax needs."
What do you like best about Avalara? The ease of Avalara doing the hard work of keeping up with the ever-changing sales tax laws and rate changes each state has on ongoing bases. The ability to find your customer's exemption certificates in one location instead of looking through tons of paper copies to find the exemptions.

What do you like best about Avalara? Best in class service and software. No other company has a robust platform that can handle both sales and telecom taxes. Great documentation. Excellent customer. One-stop shop to solve many compliance issues.
