360 Glue functionality
What do you like best? I've been using it for the last 1 1/2 yrs and it's greatly reduced my time spent on updating federated models. What do you dislike? Functionality is lacking compared to Navisworks. There should be a default archive folder for delete models that have already been versioned. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Federated model management. Reduced time updating and distributing to team members.

Enhances ability to socialize project issues and solutions across a large team
What do you like best? Allows custom manipulation of project data and metrics. Has extensive control of rights to visibility of various data tracking avenues. What do you dislike? Since it is cloud based, there have a few occasions when it was not available or was slow to upload/download images and files. Recommendations to others considering the product If managing large and/or complex projects this tool is very good for centrally collecting information and providing metrics against ...

Overall software usability and applications
What do you like best? I like having relevant project information readily accessible in the cloud. Having features available to review and analyze the information (measurements, search is a powerful tool. What do you dislike? Sometimes the tools can be glitchy and difficult to use. A platform of more robust tools and navigation controls will be extremely helpful. For example: drawings could be easier to navigate with a sheet index in Docs. The model viewer in Glue is difficult to use, so ...

Coordination Made Easy
What do you like best? The ability for all trades to upload/update their own models into the coordination model and rerun set clash tests on their own and for everyone to have access to the most current nwc files for download. What do you dislike? The controls for modifying views boxes could be more user friendly. I don't like scaling the crop boxes and then moving them. I'd prefer dragging the ends of the boxes out in each direction. A true full screen interface would help to when ...

Very robust field tracking software
What do you like best? BIM 360 Field provides offline access to all data, invaluable when no WiFi or cellular is available. The system for locating issues is very precise. Once areas have been defined, a pin points to the exact location of the issue. What do you dislike? Memory creep; even small projects take up 20 GB after a while Recommendations to others considering the product Best choice if your company already has a Project Management and Accounting platform. What business problems ...

Productive but sometimes not intuitive to use, specially for people on site
What do you like best? Makes document management way easier at the design and construction level What do you dislike? What I dislike the most is the quality of the markup tools, we usually end up doing the markups on the PDFs with Adobe Acrobat and then uploading. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? * Avoiding to track done the status of RFIs and Submittals, the information is right there. * Avoiding not to know what is the latest ...

Not fit for purpose because it takes too long to handle large files
What do you like best? Very simple and easy to use and the 3d viewer is good, if you can get the files to upload What do you dislike? Autodesk have written this software so that it uploads and processes to view in 3d at the same time. This means that it can take hours to upload a large file and then there is no guarantee that it will upload. Therefore, it cannot be used as your sole CDE package Recommendations to others considering the product This product isn't ready to be shipped ...

Senior Electrical Engineer
What do you like best? The Issue Log is what I use the most. It works well. What do you dislike? I would like if we could assign the issues to multiple companies. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is place to refer back to for previous issues instead of digging through different logs for each discipline.

Building Construction Coordination
What do you like best? I appreciate the way Autodesk BIM 360 organizes it's file structure. What do you dislike? I feel the clash detection part is to slow and cumbersome to use on a regular basis. Recommendations to others considering the product I would recommend getting to know Navis Works Manage thoroughly because the clash detection part of BIM 360 is not a vialable option on a day to day use. It's way to slow and clunky. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...
