Great tool, but needs improving

What do you like best? The simplicity of use for people with little or no computer knowledge. It is able to combine a variety of 3D software into one platform that can then be viewed and marked up by many users. What do you dislike? It can be very time consuming to download and view models. It is useful that many people can add to one merged model but this can also cause many issues with ensuring the latest information is shown. Measuring with BIM Glue is frustrating and difficult. ...

BIM 360 Review

What do you like best? The online viewer for the models, drawings, and documents. What do you dislike? That the software was released to the public without basic functionalities, like workflows in the beginning, Recommendations to others considering the product BIM 360 is the ideal CDE for all the project stages, the ease of use of the product allowed the site teams to view the model with the hassle of desktop software. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Great software needs kudos.

What do you like best? Creating issues on drawings, and also field issues alike. I have already started recommending the software at #AUAfrica2018. There are many things to like, the ease of uploading drawings, the ease of creating packages the flowing way that Revit and BIM 360 flows together. What do you dislike? Not having the ability to assign an issue to more than one person at a time. A relative strong dislike is actually from the contractor, his sub-contractors do not have ...

Senior Electrical Engineer

What do you like best? The Issue Log is what I use the most. It works well. What do you dislike? I would like if we could assign the issues to multiple companies. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is place to refer back to for previous issues instead of digging through different logs for each discipline.

Very robust field tracking software

What do you like best? BIM 360 Field provides offline access to all data, invaluable when no WiFi or cellular is available. The system for locating issues is very precise. Once areas have been defined, a pin points to the exact location of the issue. What do you dislike? Memory creep; even small projects take up 20 GB after a while Recommendations to others considering the product Best choice if your company already has a Project Management and Accounting platform. What business problems ...

Enhances ability to socialize project issues and solutions across a large team

What do you like best? Allows custom manipulation of project data and metrics. Has extensive control of rights to visibility of various data tracking avenues. What do you dislike? Since it is cloud based, there have a few occasions when it was not available or was slow to upload/download images and files. Recommendations to others considering the product If managing large and/or complex projects this tool is very good for centrally collecting information and providing metrics against ...

Overall software usability and applications

What do you like best? I like having relevant project information readily accessible in the cloud. Having features available to review and analyze the information (measurements, search is a powerful tool. What do you dislike? Sometimes the tools can be glitchy and difficult to use. A platform of more robust tools and navigation controls will be extremely helpful. For example: drawings could be easier to navigate with a sheet index in Docs. The model viewer in Glue is difficult to use, so ...

Productive but sometimes not intuitive to use, specially for people on site

What do you like best? Makes document management way easier at the design and construction level What do you dislike? What I dislike the most is the quality of the markup tools, we usually end up doing the markups on the PDFs with Adobe Acrobat and then uploading. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? * Avoiding to track done the status of RFIs and Submittals, the information is right there. * Avoiding not to know what is the latest ...
