Using BIM 360 to live share Revit models

What do you like best? Ability to sync changes, even after a disconnect from the cloud. Almost totally eliminating the need to create new central files when users lose connection to the central file. What do you dislike? Names user access and user management is additional admin time What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Remote office/ user access to Revit central files.

Great Revit File Sharing in the cloud, but limitions with user friendliness.

What do you like best? The capabilities of working with outside firms with live linking of Revit files is easily the best portion of the BIM 360 product. The ability to share information in one location with other firms, so each firm will have current and up-to-date information. It also has the ability to house and link AutoCAD files into the Revit model. Also a firm has the ability to upload many different file types that can be used by different programs, such as Navisworks among ...

Sometimes depending on the size of the model the loading times can take awhile, but at the same time it isn't at an unacceptable speed. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The constant coordination requirements for high level projects, being able to constantly ...

What do you like best? I like the ability to tag equipment and link issues to equipment What do you dislike? The loading time takes too long, which may not be possible to fix with 2000+ issues What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Commissioning issues work very well with BIM 360, as well as, quality control. The benefits are the comments to update an item, but you do not receive an email everytime an item is updated

It works but it could be so much better

What do you like best? I like that with one click, my vendor on the other side of the country can access a shared model and immediately see any changes or updates. What do you dislike? My position requires that I work very heavily with point clouds. It has taken a lot of troubleshooting for my team to find a decent workflow when working with point clouds. My team has two point clouds (22gb and 2gb) linked to a structural model. This model serves as the central model for our fire ...

Very helpful, but can use some improvements.

What do you like best? Having one central space that everyone uses for all our documents. This helps keep everyone on the same page. Additionally, with having one place that everyone uploads to, we are able to eliminate the issue of having documents getting lost in emails. What do you dislike? Sometimes the system can be slow to load documents. It would be nice if the desktop connector would have the ability to see the photos uploaded into the web version. Also, would like the ...
