Asana is my task management bible!

What do you like best? The ease of use as well as the customization that you can do for your own Asana within you companies shared projects. What do you dislike? I would like to be able to lock areas of team projects that others can view but are unable to edit to make sure that the layout and order are not messed with. Recommendations to others considering the product: Asana is as good as the time you put into it. You have to be diligent in putting the work into tracking and ...

Asana is very user friendly and great for organizing

What do you like best? it's shareable, the ease of use, the way it's laid out and organized on your screen. The simplicity of everything. What do you dislike? Nothing that I've experienced so far with this tool What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The organizing of projects and to do list every day.

Wooo-Asana

What do you like best? Ever wondered what it was like to see a unicorn shoot across your screen? You'll love the sight even more after you've finished a task within a project or completed a section of a project! What do you dislike? I'd like for there to be the ability to edit the entire template, and delete multiple tasks at once. Especially since the templates have multiple tasks with details that aren't really needed... Recommendations to others considering the product: Dive into ...

Easy-Peazy with Asana

What do you like best? Provides me with an easy to edit checklist, that can be broken into categories that helps keep things organized. What do you dislike? Occasionally Asana logs out and I have to log back in. Not a huge deal, just a minor inconvenience. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sometimes I will edit the wrong task. Is there an "undo" option? Could we get something that helps us undo mistakes?

Streamline Your Workflow, Integrate Teams

What do you like best? Multiple teams can easily coordinate around one task. Also, you can have a dancing unicorn fly across your screen when you complete a task. Who doesn't want a celebratory unicorn multiple times a day? What do you dislike? The only thing that they could better is roll out task-based templates. Right now, only projects can have templates, but we had tasks, like coordinating a mailing, where the mailing was the main task and there were various subtasks. It would ...

A User-Friendly Task Management Tool

What do you like best? At Occasion Brands, we rely heavily on Asana to keep all teams on track with their tasks. My favorite part about Asana is the ability to customize my task list according to my needs i.e., not having the order default to something like oldest to newest task. I like to break up my personal task list according to priority, and the ability to reorder and add sections to my task list help with this significantly. What do you dislike? I do not like that there can only ...

Basically a glorified to-do list

What do you like best? For me the best part is the stuff that doesn't actually move the needle forward, unfortunately. There are fun add-ons like little animated celebrations when you check off a task, which provides a nice little hit of dopamine. What do you dislike? It's very confusing to use. The Projects can get cluttered, and it's unclear how to add something to your own calendar vs the team calendar, and I end up having duplicate tasks in multiple places because it's just not ...

Asana is a good solution!

What do you like best? Asana is a great tool for task management and team collaboration. Asana has a great team behind its product that constantly updates the platform to meet customer demand. What do you dislike? As with all services, there is a learning curve to actually becoming proficient in using Asana, but that can be easily accomplished with a bit of time and practice. The only thing I want to mention as a negative is the lack of an option to hide team members from the ...

Fantastic for recurring tasks and projects

What do you like best? We do a lot of things on a monthly, quarterly or project basis and Asana lets us easily create tasks, duplicate them and have them on various repeating schedules. Being able to see everyone on a project and seeing the timeline view is also great. The integration with Slack fixed the problem of me always losing conversations in Slack, now I can quickly add to Asana as a task with a follow up due date. What do you dislike? We still tend to over-schedule resources ...
