Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

The best task and project management tool on the market!
What do you like best? It's versatile, easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, it allows you to create, organize and manage multiple projects at once and easily see how you are progressing with each. I love that you basically have an automated to-do list every day and you just need to think about execution. What do you dislike? The mobile app is not as easy to use and complete, it can be improved, especially the interface. Recommendations to others considering the product: The ...

Asana transformed the effectiveness of our team's meetings
What do you like best? We love being able to track our program's long-term vision and goals, while also tracking our effectiveness through short-term tasks and projects. We made a rule that all communication within our department should take place within Asana and Outlook should only be used for contacting external stakeholders. By implementing these processes, we are able to find and engage with all department conversations more effectively. Much of what would take up our time during ...

The best project management and collaboration software there is.
What do you like best? Literally, all of it. I've been using Asana for 5 years and I'm a certified pro, so...really, everything. I'd say transparency is the key term I use when testifying. What do you dislike? Difficult to realize all of the many features. Recommendations to others considering the product: Think of how you'd ideally like to manage project; Asana can probably do it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

The most practical and modern way of working together
What do you like best? Asana is an excellent online tool that connects the entire work team in real time, allowing communication, organization and planning to successfully complete the projects in question. Asana is very simple and easy to use, each project has a roadmap. Each task can have subtasks, as well as an assignee, due date, attachments, comments, and tags. These tasks and subtasks are used to track work. (Completely beneficial) What do you dislike? Asana is incredible and ...

Good project management software
What do you like best? Pretty easy to learn and use. I like that I can assign task to team members with due date along with notes to the team. I also like that you can create multiple projects and only assign the people to them that are involved with that project. What do you dislike? Sections are great for splitting up different stages of a project, but once you complete the tasks, you can't clear the section without deleting what tasks were associated with it. What problems ...

Great collaboration tool for Marketing teams
What do you like best? Simple to use, yet packed full of powerful features, I've been an Asana user for years. I've tried a lot of tool for project and task management and it's the only one I've consistently come back to. The design and layout is carefully thought through and intuitive and most of all it's fast. While other tools promise endless features they end up getting in the way, with too many clicks required to do simple things like reorganise or complete tasks. Not Asana. It's ...

Easy to use system to stay organized in tasks
What do you like best? Easy to use and clearly displays tasks that need to be done. Collobarotation with teammates is simple and it is helpful to have an area to leave comments or feedback. What do you dislike? If an item does not have a deadline set it is not difficult for it be hidden as it sits off the screen if you do not scroll down. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Helps stay on task and show you what other team members ...

Excellent project management software for small to large teams.
What do you like best? Flexibility of the software, and ongoing improvements to address the needs of companies and teams managing diverse projects. The paid version for some teams at our company is wonderful for setting up 1-1 meetings, organizing projects by portfolios, creating custom fields, and also setting up automated workflows. Integrations with other software like HubSpot, Slack, and Gmail also make Asana a great tool for our company. What do you dislike? There's a learning ...
