Asana pros and cons
Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.
Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.
Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.
Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.
Steep learning curve for new users due to the richness of features and complex implementation for larger organizations.
Advanced features (e.g., custom fields, timeline views, and detailed reporting) are locked behind premium pricing, making it expensive for smaller organizations.

Awesome Task Manager
What do you like best? Some of the aspects of Asana that I believe are the best include: -Ease of task making and management -Gantt Chart feature helps you visual you task or project timeline (with dates and assisgnments to team members) -Email task integration allows you to send emails to Asana and turn them into tasks What do you dislike? There really isn't much that I dislike about Asana. It's a great platform that is used my many, many companies - large and small. ...

Coordinate teams and projects beautifully
What do you like best? I love that asana is a flexible tool that is not pushing the user to a specific working methodology. Instead, asana allows the user to see and organise the information in different ways, making it a versatile option that will suite all kind of needs for different departments and industries in one single place. Also, I love that asana gives managers a complete overview of what is going on inside the company and on each department, and gives employees a detailed ...

Very Flexible and Intuitive Project Management Tool
What do you like best? Asana has all the bases covered for a project management tool. You can track projects at a high level, multiple projects across your organization, all the way down to tasks and subtasks. The portfolio view is useful for seeing high level details about an individual project while the project view lets you drill down as far as you need to go on a project. You can also use the update feature to automatically send out requests to different users for status updates. ...

Helps the team collaborate and stay organized virtually.
What do you like best? Asana is great for calendar-based planning, communication, and document sharing. I use the integration with OneDrive for secure cloud-based reviews of content with the team daily. The custom fields and tags help make sure we get the information that is most important to us, instead of trying to fit into a template. They make completing and liking tasks a rewarding experience with animations and colors, small thing but definitely nice to fit into a busy day. What ...

Failure to Innovate or Listen to its Customer Base
What do you like best? The aesthetic of the UI is nice and it is fairly responsive. What do you dislike? Features requested by the community are ignored for the most part. There are dozens upon dozens of basic requests to make the software more functional that the team at Asana has ignored for years (4+ years in many cases). Here are some examples: • Lack of Markdown support. • Inability to add subtasks to the timeline view (making scheduling impossible). • Inability to ...

Asana is helpful but could be better
What do you like best? Asana has a very user friendly UI, and you can get your team setup within minutes. There is no in-depth training required to be able to use the program, however there is a wide range of functionality that can be used to further optimise your teams performance. What do you dislike? Once a task has been edited or a step completed there is a convoluted process to retrace the step. As an example if the step has been marked completed by the team member it is ...

Best PM software in the market!!!
What do you like best? Asana is a great tool for project management at all levels. It helps integrate and coordinate communication flows between people, processes, and departments so that everyone knows what they are supposed to do. What do you dislike? The fact that there are some things like subtasks that seem a little disorganized on list view Recommendations to others considering the product: Look at the help docs when doubts on implementing they have all the best use ...

Love it! Would highly recommend.
We love using Asana for our small marketing agency! It's better than any other project management program we've tried in the past and has helped our remote team to work more efficiently with better communication on projects.

Great visualisation tool
What do you like best? Fluidity of timelines & dependency tracking, it allows us to see in real time how things are planning out It also allows us to see the cause and effect of moving work based on priority What do you dislike? Setting the security on each project is more complicated than it should be. At the start we made project locked down but didn't realise that they weren't! Also adding people to tasks gives them visibility over the whole project, sometimes that's ...

Great tool for managing tasks across teams
What do you like best? Being able to see a calendared view of team tasks What do you dislike? The only issues I've had so far is that finding where/how to make tasks recurring is not immediately obvious. Once the option is found, setting a task to recurring after it has already been completed does nothing. A user has to mark the task not complete and then mark it complete again. This causes issues with reviewing, but is a one-time issue per task. What problems are you solving ...
