Asana pros and cons

  • Simple interface supports easy adoption for personal and professional use.

  • Task and project management includes timelines, recurring tasks, subtasks, and milestones for structured workflows.

  • Team collaboration features include comments, file attachments, and real-time updates.

  • Customizable workflows, task prioritization, and board/list views accommodate varying user needs.

Asana makes our team sprints more effective!

What do you like best? I like the ability to assign tasks to others and tag others on my tasks. What do you dislike? I dislike some of the UX, but it is improving. Sometimes, it's hard to organize a board because the appropriate features don't exist. For example, you can't have a "header" section to a group of tasks without it being a large task you're prompted to complete. They recently added the ability to easily view sub tasks which is helpful. What problems are you solving ...

Get organized

What do you like best? This is my preferred user interface. It is brand new, happy and above all continuous, and Asana's staff have actually been effective over the last twelve months and have worked on many changes to improve and enhance the user interface. What do you dislike? I don't like the fact that I can't manually list the tasks to be done. When I get a tag for the task, I get an e-mail about it and cannot add it into my workspace! You can't see it and forget it, so it may ...

Asana

What do you like best? Asana is a cheap platform. It is easy to manage and configure projects and departments and offers other task management software like JIRA. While it lacks useful features, Asana is visually attractive and easy to use, just like JIRA. While it lacks the useful features that other task management software such as Asana offers, Asana looks very good. It does. The design is very good. It organizes programs, schedules and tasks in an easy to understand way. What do ...

Project control with Asana

What do you like best? The team integration and automation of the communicacions between team members. What do you dislike? The Inbox. I receive email notificacions and notifications from th mobile app, but I have never used the Inbox. It just sits there with an orange dot. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Planning and following up with my projects. We have very detailed projects that require several tasks and subtasks and ...

Control various projects in one place.

What do you like best? Asana is actually helpful for tracking progress / positive results in big team tasks or perhaps individual tasks. Asana gives you features that are important to help make sure that your staff is actually on time, that almost all traps are actually solved in time that is real and that everyone is able to remain on the exact same wavelength. I've used additional project management tools like Teamwork, and Asana is definitely the easiest platform to work with. If your ...

Brings sense to the madness

What do you like best? I like the idea of having multiple projects at a glance as there are many I am and you are probably working on. It allows you to brain dump even seemingly meaningless tasks into a bucket so you can get more bandwidth back. It also implement really well with tools like Zapier.com which provides almost limitless flexibility for connecting and create workflows for what business systems you are currently using. Highly recommend getting acquainted with zapier.com. ...

Great software for task and project management!

What do you like best? Interface. Email summary reminders. Sharing of tasks. Ability to include subtasks What do you dislike? Small learning curve. Could use an in-app guide. Feel like I'm not using it to full potential Recommendations to others considering the product: Highly recommend it even if it's not just for project management but simply for your regular to dos and errands. Especially long term tasks that you'll get reminded about through email. What problems are ...
