Apple Numbers great integration but doesn’t always Excel

What do you like best? Of all the productivity apps none scream more office geek than numbers while still leaving you with and edge of coolness. I love that this app makes designing great looking spreadsheets easy. What do you dislike? I don’t always feel like the app gives great help and function support for more complicated calculations, but maybe that’s the office in me talking. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use ...

It works for simple spreadsheets and graphs, if you are in the Apple ecosystem

What do you like best? Works across all iOS and MacOS devices. Integrates well with iCloud What do you dislike? Pivot tables are pretty much non-existent and if you are doing complex spreadsheets look to MS Excel What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It works for viewing xls spreadsheets on an iOS device like an iPad or iPhone without having to download and login w O365 account

Apple Numbers, do everything yourself

What do you like best? Apple Numbers allows me to create the charts and spread sheets I need. Either from scratch or some suggested templates to start from. What do you dislike? There is not a lot to dislike about this program, it guides you if needed in everyday, helps you be organized and it is organized and easy navigating in itself. A bonus would be a tutorial on some charts and features, I was once new to these types of sheets and anybody who is would appreciate a rundown ...

Excel Replacement with a difficult learning curve

What do you like best? I like the ability to import and export any of my coworkers MS Excel docs. iCloud integration is the best, easy for quick edits, pulling up on a desktop computer, passing off to an intern. Everything is easy and data is never saved over. What do you dislike? Its very difficult for life-long Microsoft users to make edits in Numbers. While the program is free, Apple hardware is expensive. Also no android, windows or web-based support. Recommendations to ...

Fine in a pinch but excel is much better

What do you like best? Numbers is great if you want todo basic editing or quickly view a file. Numbers excels in its simplicity What do you dislike? Unfortunately I find it very limited in its latest version - making simple tasks removing duplicates, selective hilighting, manipulating large amounts of data. that should be simple in excel take an exorbitant amount of time or even impossible. Many of the features that are missing apparently were in older versions of numbers before ...

Numbers is a user friendly spreadshhet software!

What do you like best? I like the formatting tools and templates and that it looks great on a mac. The templates are beautiful and easy to use and translate well over to Apple's Keynote presentation software. I also love how it is so easy to move the spreadsheets and navigate through all our date. You can also save different formats like pdf or xls. and that is very important to translate and share the information with clients that don't use the mac. What do you dislike? Sometimes ...

Teaching Spreadsheets with Apple Numbers

What do you like best? One thing that I like is that the table is only as large as your data instead of the infinite scrolling available in other spreadsheet programs, and that you can put more than 1 table in a spreadsheet. Another thing I like are the interactive charts with sliders for comparing groups of data. I also like the built in stock information which makes it easy to import current data into your table. What do you dislike? I don't like some of the default settings on a ...

Apple Numbers - - for the rest of us

What do you like best? The product is extremely easy to use...in most cases, easier than Excel. The interface is pleasant, and straightforward. What do you dislike? Primarily, simply not enough other users - it's difficult to commit to a product that is not universally accepted/used. Recommendations to others considering the product: Great product for personal use. Unless you are working with others that have the same product, it's limited value (in my opinion) when working ...
