I don’t know why my first attempt in May of 2018 was never received. I cancelled, assuming it went through. It disgusts me that you can clearly see that since May of 2018, I never used the service again. I know that you could do something to resolve this issue but you choose not to. And no. Animoto straight up lied to me!

I used Animoto to create a slideshow for a Christmas present. The actual process of creating the slideshow went smoothly, but the process of "producing" the project was a total nightmare. Since I was creating it for a friend, and not a professional setting, I wanted to produce it using the "Personal Plan" which was the cheapest option. I recommend not doing business with…

I recommend not doing business with this company. We had a subscription for a year. On the following year they auto-billed and never sent any warning about this or even a receipt. Luckily my credit card showed the payment was charged and I contacted the company the same day to cancel the annual subscription and refund us.There customer service policy is No EXCEPTIONS No REFUNDS. What kind of crappy business is this? I'm making an FCC claim against the company. This is unethical business.

Doesn't deserve 1 star-Poor Security AND Customer Service

Security a BIG problem at Animoto and the service is not customer friendly! My account was hacked and I found a threatening email in my junk mail saying they were infecting my malware etc... They said they had full access and control over my computer and all my accounts and passwords. They said they could see me on my camera and had recorded me. They threatened to post on social media and wanted me to send 900$ with current bitcoin. I couldn't get into my account but I sent Animoto a copy ...

My use of Animoto

I use Animoto not only for my personal memories but also as a book trailer for the novels I write. I found Animoto to be a great tool to send via email to friends and family in place of a Christmas newsletter. So much more fun to view!
