What is Web Search API?
What does 'Web Search API' mean?
A web search API gives an application live results from the open web through an endpoint, instead of a person typing into a browser. The things that separate them are freshness, whether page contents come back with the result or require a second call, how results are priced once you ask for more than ten, and whether the vendor will run an index over your own private content alongside the public one. Latency matters here more than in most purchases, because an agent may call it many times in one task.
